Now I know what the packaging reminds me of... gargoyles, lol.




Yeah... the more I think about it, the more I want to skip this completely. I love beauty powders, so I'll see how this one is. If it is like the Marylin one only darker I can skip. If it is more like a highlighter I migth get it.

My friend would go crazy if they brought out a Disney's Gargoyles collection.

Definitely a skip for me. Dupeable colors and boring packaging. #yawn Hmmm....I'm beginning to see a pattern where I'm completely underwhelmed by MAC lately. I'm liking it, and my wallet loves it!

Man I already have 4 carbons in four different palettes LOL but I will still get this palette.

All the shades of eyeshadow are available now. Ground Brown is a pro color, but accessible. I wonder if I should go ahead and grab those colors. I only have goldmine.

I guess I'm mostly alone in liking the packaging. I think it will make more sense once the movie comes out. I am a little disappointed because the colors are kinda boring. I wish they had a green SOMETHING, maybe nail polish?? Because even though her skin isn't green in this version, her 'magic' or whatever is. So it would have been perfect. Ah, well. Does anyone know the price points of this collection? Sorry if this has already been discussed.  Also what skin tones does Sculpt work on?

I was super excited because my best friend is raving about the Maleficent movie and I would've loved to buy her something from this collection for our birth month (yes we share lol) but not even the packaging is cute! TOTAL SKIP!

Well after months of stalking this board because I was so excited for this release I would really like to say that my wallet is much better off now that I see what a sad little collection this is...but realistically it just means I'm going to go more nuts with Playland and Proenza. Buuut I may cave for the beauty powder if it's similar to Forever Marilyn. I still use that just about every day.

I am disappointed but was hoping for some amazing items like the vv collection. At least I save money for something better! I too was hoping its a April fools joke ....I mean it's just so boring and looks so crappy. Actually looks like a company just staring up with the basic colors and plain packaging. Or if they just rushed and had to produce something quickly.

i think everyone was disappointed because everyone was expecting something similar or better than VV since everyone loved that collection and it had so many great items.

If you apply it lightly you could use it. Otherwise I'd suggest Bone Beige.

Wow. Yeah theres so many ways this could have went. Pretty disappointed. Actually I kinda like the packaging. Not for this collection though. Think black and metallic purple would have been great. On second thought lets keep that for a more interesting color story lol My low buy and wallet will def be happy. But the Beauty Powder sounds promising! Might grab that if it's awesome.
