NARS Contour Blush

I'm around an NC42 and Gienah seems a bit dark. Opinions? The "highlight" shade looks like it will just be my skin color, maybe even darker. Paloma looks a little light, but I'm thinking it could be buildable, and I'd rather it be subtle than too dark. Plus, despite the description and promo pics, it doesn't seem particularly cool-toned in the swatches we've seen. More neutral, if anything. Glad I can take my time in deciding, though.

we are about the same compexion and i think paloma would be good for us!! becuz i like to extra with my kontour im getting both paloma and gienah lol

Looking at the swatches that have come up I'm regretting not getting Paloma and maybe building the color up (I'm kinda lazy, lol) . Wish I could have taken some time to see how other people liked it.

im thinkin paloma will give me the mac dark msf shade or even nars casino kinda result and i ordered gienah cuz i love mac richly honed. i normally do mac RH n buff it out with nars casino!!

im hoping some WOC review the med and dark shade or at least hit sephora to swatch em!!

Thanks for the input ladies! I like how Paloma looks on Karen. It's subtle, but you can definitely tell a difference and I think that's the look I want. Gienah may be good for a more dramatic look, but I wouldn't use it enough.

temptalia has her review up on paloma and olympia!! she compares paloma to mac harmony!! glad i skipped it then cuz i have harmony and nars douceur too which is a taaaad on the olympia side! im interested what she'll compare geniah to tho n cant wait til my nordy package arrives to throw it on my cheeks!! EEEK!!

NARS has revamped their whole brush collection.
There is an Ita (rectangular) brush, and a contour (angled) brush. On Temptalia there is no mention of the Kabuki brushes (Botan, Ita, Yachiyo) but they are still there and they have not been discontinued.

I came to link the nordie's link w/ the brush because I saw it the other day.. and I guess it sold out since then because it isn't showing up anymore. Dang! these things are going like quick fire!

i think for the NC-NW42 ranges geniah would be good to get becuz its like u get the paloma color in the "highlighter" side so u basically get 2 for 1. i plan on buffin the geniah contour out with the highlighter part.
