Dior Cosmetics Discussion

I ordered four of the new gel nail polishes and am so disappointed with them. I haven't tried them yet, I'm just really upset about the colors. I ordered Mirage, Adventure, Wonderland and Front Row. They are all like straight up, neon, pretty much. They are so flipping bright. They look nothing like the promo images, just to warn you. Like Wonderland reminds me of a Sinful Neon polish. All three of the ones that go with the fluid sticks do. Not what I was expecting at all. Some people love that I know, I'm just not one of them. Front Row I kind of like. But the others, just, sigh. They are not what I thought they would be. So, if you don't like bright colors, make sure you check for reviews or check them out in the store first.
Thanks Jebogewf---I was starting my list and will now definitely keep that in mind---maybe 1 bright/neon gel for a summer pedi.

I haven't seen any of these reviewed by nail bloggers or even my usual beauty bloggers yet. Yes I know nail bloggers are beauty bloggers but they tend to concentrate only on NP so are a niche within a niche if you will

I reviewed four of the shades and tonight I will post about three other, The shades look not special in the bottle but if you use gel top coat, they really have gel shine! And they last very very long. I am wearing Front Row, I don't know how many days it is now, I don't even have tip wear, I was first sceptical but now I think I get all the rest, lol. (I already have three more on the way)

Wouldn't that be great to just grow a big freakin beard & we wouldn't have to worry about mu or skincare so much

Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've tried a lot of crap & NOTHING gave me instant visible results like this. Nothing! My dillards was offering $25 off a $150 purchase last Sat., so I bought the LE super size.
Elegant- which one would you buy if you could only get one? The dream skin or capture totale? I"m confused what the difference is between the two.

Ah thank you so much for directing me to your reviews. I am so happy Front Row is similar to Tentation. I have resisted the Chanel one because I have decided I really dislike their brush, consistency and lasting power. I have so many Chanels I should just part with since I dislike wearing them! It is happy for me to see there is a dupe for it in a brand I prefer. Now to see the brush... you did not picture the brush... how does it compare to the previous brush and formula? Please if you do not mind

Loving Front Row at the moment,
here are three more shades and brush comparison:

for the others, if you are interested, review of first four shades:

I also post photos of my mani on instagram for my longevity test ;-) Here is day 4: http://instagram.com/p/mOCfMvJ5u1/

All in all, I found the shades of this line "uninspirational" first, and outdated a little, like who wants another "Chanel Steel" or Particuliere right?
But I found out it is all about the shiny effect, a new take on classics, so I ended up getting more

I would say Dream Skin. DS gives a very smooth blurred flawless look to the skin while its supposed to lighten dark spots, redness & aging skin. It really does all that. The Capture Totale is a serum that is to help skin cells at the deep parts of the cell - anti aging. It also gives a smooth clear texture to the skin but not like Dream Skin. Almost everyone loves the Dream Skin. You get instant great results.

thank you so much for your thoughts... I really do think the brush will work for me. I hate Chanel's brush and honestly the formula is not that good on Chanel. The colors however do tend to be really good for Chanel if one goes for non pink or red colors. And their pink and reds tend to be very classy instead of garish

I got the glow maximizer yesterday with my sephora discount. Its such a weird thing but when you squeeze it out it looks pink based but when you put it on it has the finest gold shimmer. It reminds me of my favorite Chanel poudre de signee highlighter. I love it.

Well now thats a good deal! I'm thinking about trying either the Multi-Perfection Concentrated Serum or Multi-Perfection Emulsion' Correcting Treatment or 'Capture Totale' Haute Nutrition Oil Serum next. I'm happy to be able to get that 15% discount :)
yeah! take advantage of it. i got a lot of great things from sephora with the discount. i got my first dior blush and e/s palette- rosy tan and happy cherry. i love both. rosy tan doesn't have a ton of pigmentation and i thought i'd return it, but i got a ton of compliments because it's actually really natural looking. DH loved it so i'm going to keep it! the blush is amazing. i have a bunch of chanel and mac blushes but i think i'm a convert.

I LOVE Dior blushes. Happy Cherry is really pretty. I don't have RT but almost all the others. They look so natural & pretty on.

beauty geeks swatch the polishes… no review other than just buy them already {at least that is what I read even if it isn't what she said lol}

I tried Massaï and Victoire at the counter yesterday. I like the new brush far better than the old one (the new one is very close to the brush of YSL), but the polish is still a bit too thick for my taste. I might break down and buy Victoire, but in that case I'll have to thin it before I can work with it. Oh, but the color is great!
