I can't even bring myself to do my brows unless I have a ton of time to get ready. You have very good reasons for not having time to fuss with your brows, though, so wear those fraternal twins with pride!

I am OK with this new packaging. My MBs and MESs in particular would often get the clear plastic portion of the lid popping out - now THAT's cheap. At least with this new design, chances are the clear window will stay put, which in turn will keep those delicate Mineralizes safe. Standard MAC packaging was always function over form anyhow, so nothing new in that department.
Me too!

Spoke with a wonderful MA at a counter today.  They mentioned Beauty Balms were coming back I think in June? Not sure on dates.  I didn't know if this had been mentioned yet, I may be able to get more info when I go play on Thursday.
Yeah i posted the dates for all the summer collections. They're being repromoted June 5th.

I don't mind them either. I have that issue with a lot of mac products. (clear insert popping out)

BB's are still up on Nordies, I think. I didn't really play with these. Did ppl love/hate them?

You go girl! I couldn't remember if they had been mentioned or not. It is quite possible that I glazed over their release because I wasn't intrigued. You rock @erine1881

ha.. If I don't do my brows, I look sick or like a mutant..

as refers the packaging, there has been an ongoing battle to change packaging for a lot of the MAC lineup -- but it always goes back to costs. They could do wonderful packaging and even cut costs, but the business of beauty is treacherous.. lol. So, it's the same old pop out clear lids, and the same old packaging for the perm products.

The new ones, if they are indeed new, look horrid imo. They will be complicated to stack and they will also allow for slippage since the rounds seem like discs.. dunno. But I guess we will find out.

Even if i do my eye makeup, if i don't do my brows - which are thin and have few hairs in them - my eyes are less noticeable.

When i was getting back into makeup a few years ago, i picked up Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Brunette ("medium light bronze"), but the spoolie is HUGE and i don't have enough brow hairs for the gel to work. Maybe i should see if my fine pointed eye liner brush (see below) works better...

Most of the time i just use Omega ("soft muted beige-taupe") eyeshadow. My hair is mostly dark brown, but dark brows just look silly on me, overpower my eyes, and take focus away from my eyes and lips. Frankly, i look like an evil Joan Crawford

. I use a really cheap e.l.f. angled liner brush and it works fine - and that's the only thing i use that brush for.

Last year I got a Fluidline Brow Gelcreme in Dirty Blonde ("soft taupe brown"), which i love - i use a very fine pointed eye liner brush to put it on and that gives me great control. I also got a Veluxe Brow Liner pencil in Strawberry Blonde ("soft muted beige-taupe") because it's more portable than the gel. But it's a completely different color from Omega, despite MAC's description, and sometimes it's OK but other times it's a bit too dark or strong or something. I've also noticed that the "lead" keeps crumbling if i try to get a fine point, which is annoying, 'cuz i need a fine point.

However, whatever i use, my brows tend to wear off during the day, so maybe the new waterproof brow products - if they come in a light enough color - will stay on longer.

lilinah.. use eye primer underneath all the brow products. They all last a lot longer and don't wear off easily -- whether you use pencil, gel or powder.. it really helps me. I swim every day after work and with the primer beneath the brown products I come out of the pool with eyebrows.. lol

I myself use primer on my brows to make them last all day and it's amazing!!

I'm hoping that the repackaged MSFNs and MB look better in person. I kind of don't like the new packaging and I have hit pan on my MSFN.

Any word if MAC is reformulating the MSFN or just repackaging? I don't mind a re-formulation if it means a better product.

I've got some news about Moody Blooms. Shall we start a new thread now or later when someone has the color story?
