Which Guerlain foundation (and shade). I'm always trying to figure out their shades.
Your assessment is the reason that I purchased it.

OMG! I thought you was talking about another one! Chanel made me forget about Joli Teint! I've spent so long thinking about the other Guerlain foundations and not being able to tell what shade I am.:lmao: Shontay are you high? 'Terracotta Joli Teint' Healthy Glow Fluid Foundation in Fonce- the same one that you and Charismafulltv raved about. Your assessment is the reason that I purchased it.
Absolutely and how cute is it that my favorite Chanel blush is called In Love? I think I'm going to challenge myself to wear a Chanel blush for my next handful of outings.
I was just browsing through that thread! Sometimes I try to pull out things I haven't worn in awhile. The other day I wore Exotic lipstick by Chanel. It's an old favorite that I haven't touched in awhile. I've strayed from Chanel in general actually outside of my HG mascara, Le Volume de Chanel. I need to get my Chanel mojo back starting now. In my makeup buying life I have only finished a few products: one Mac lipglass, 3 MUFE foundations and about 4 Chanel mascaras. That's it. Kinda sad. Why it's just too cute!!! In Love is so pretty. That's what we do in the theme thread---in addition to monthly themes related to color (s) we focus on using our products. You can customize the parameters based on what you need to use in your own stash. Last week I wore a different pigment each day but I wore the same highlighter all week. The color theme is spring---whatever colors in the season that inspire you. Sometimes I'll wear a single brand for a week. Just pretty much focusing on efforts to really make a dent in our products in a meaningful way---still waiting for that to happen!!

I think I'm going to stop with foundations now. I was just thinking about how I strayed from MUFE HD, but I always come back to it and wonder why I stray. Now I have PLV and the rest of what's left of my PL. That's all I need.Well maybe one of these will turn out to be a HG product that won't end up on the chopping block---way too exhausting to start all over again.
Which PL do you have? I had both 64 & 54 BA but 64 was too dark. I thought 54 was being discontinued so I stocked up on it, only to findI think I'm going to stop with foundations now. That's odd because I wear 64 and it's perfect. I also share the same coloring as this lovely blogger and she has 64:http://adventuresinmakeup.com/2011/09/30/chanel-perfection-lumiere-beige-ambre-64/Which PL do you have? It's called makeup overloadIn my makeup buying life I have only finished a few products: one Mac lipglass, 3 MUFE foundations and about 4 Chanel mascaras. That's it. Kinda sad.
You mentioning Modern Mercury reminded me of Diamonds CCB by Mac. I love that thing and I've put a serious dent in it. I'll be so sad when it's done. It's called makeup overload:lol: I've exhausted some of my staples---the things that I wear everyday, in a matter of months. But blush & lipstick---never gonna happen. I have completely used an EL's Modern Mercury highlighter and I'm half finished another one. It's my HG highlighter. I think the formula trumps even Chanel's.
Totally odd. I got matched in-store. The same thing happened w/DPL---I matched two shades. That's odd because I wear 64 and it's perfect. I also share the same coloring as this lovely blogger and she has 64:http://adventuresinmakeup.com/2011/09/30/chanel-perfection-lumiere-beige-ambre-64/
Yeah she usually gets me in trouble when she raves about things. Lucky me I seem to be immune to all things tom ford. Ha. Totally odd. I got matched in-store. I would definitely go w/Saks. I ordered initially from Bloomies and then canceled when I found out they wereSo it's not baked? Doesn't look like it.
Debating where to order right now. Bloomies or Saks. Probably getting both colors.
How did you manage that? Oh no---don't tell me the products all contain something to which you're allergic.Yeah she usually gets me in trouble when she raves about things. Lucky me I seem to be immune to all things tom ford. Ha.
You're in for a treat - JC's are just awesome!I have Emotion----It's been at Nordstrom for months now. Running to check specs-My Emotion is also made in France.
Out of curiosity I checked Fleur De Lotus which I picked up some time ago when I saw that it was on Chanel's chopping block----that too is
made in France. Well then my curiosity got the best of me, so I checked others. My Accent, Sakura and Plum Attraction & Frivole are also made in France.
Interesting- seems some shades are exclusively made in France! I was hoping Emotion would be made in the USA, it has not come to Australia yet.

Yes...it is confusing. It doesn't really matter where it says it's made. The way to be sure whether it's the Euro baked or US powder formulation (if you no longer have the box - because then you can tell by reading the ingredients - mineral oil is unique to the US powder formula and zea mays corn starch is unique to the Euro baked formula) is by the weight. The weight is listed on both the box and the back of the compact. 4g = Euro baked formula. 6g = US powder formula. The color of the included little brush, which used to be different, is now the same for the 2 formulas.I have Emotion----It's been at Nordstrom for months now. Lol, I hear there are some differences with the same shades made in France/USA- it seems people really dislike the Euro but it's all I know as all mine are Made In France! Apparently the USA ones don't have as much fall out.
So pretty!!I see the holeThey must keep one with a hole aside just for you at all Chanel retailers!
Oh, I'm not allergic to his products. I'm just not terribly interested in them. Plus the prices are a bit too high even for me.How did you manage that?
