Oh it's amazing what one can blame on old age----or the dog
Its so great to be old & not really care what anyone thinks. For a serious minded person - I don't naval gaze, nor do a give a crap about what anyone else thinks I should do - its so freeing. I definitely march to the beat of my own drummer...or the wine of the evening
That's why I replied to you.I am paleish NW so it is a no go.
Same! Just blushes for me and maybe one lipstick.
Yup^ lol
thank you! Well now I am jealous of my sister lol shes an NC30.That's why I replied to you. RG looks great on NC30.
Are there any bronzers you recommend for pale NWs?That's why I replied to you. RG looks great on NC30.
Hey all so here is what I know about the compacts they are bronzers (obvi) but they are perm colors, were looking at golden and refined golden. No color story but now we know. Thank you to a lovely little bird out there!!!!!
Yup, both have a tendency to turn orange. Why Mac, why? The usual supects! Regarding the fact that those two bronzers turn orange on me, I might skip the compact. I refuse to pay roundabout 30€ just for a pretty, but plastic compact.
As we don't know all the colors from AA yet, I can't really recommend. Most MAC bronzers are yellow-based. There are varying shades of darkness. Soft Sand (PLW) works well for NC 10 - 20. Nude on Board for NC 20 -30. For NC30+, see my recs above. Are there any bronzers you recommend for pale NWs?
The fancier that packaging, the more likely it is that a collection will contain regular, "usual suspects," items. It's a simple way to keep the costs down. Why Mac, why? The usual supects! This explains why the bronzers never look good on me. I bought one many years ago for the cool metallic bronze compact. It didn't look good so I rarely wore it. Then last summer I tried again with pretty much the same result. I'm happy with MSF's, so I'll stick with those. Thanks! As we don't know all the colors from AA yet, I can't really recommend. For pale NWs, there is not nearly as much choice. From older collections, I recommend Lush Light Bronze and Sun Dipped (PLW). From the perm collection, I'd recommend the (Matte) Bronze one. All three are red-based and they are equally suitable for NC, especially if you like a sunkissed look. As the bronzers are items that are really mass produced (there is always an overstock), you probably find them still in CCOs.
If you are NW and use bronzers on a regular basis, I recommend to stock up on them as there are years, where MAC doesn't offer any red-based bronzers. HTH.
You might want to check the clearance bin.Is there anyway you can get this bronzer in standard packaging. I looked in the pro section and I can't find it
I definitely don't agree with abuse of the return policies. And higher insurance rates are built into the price of the product hence rate increases. In the end we all end up paying, somehow.very true sss215.. but insurance is not cheap and rates have increased exponentially. In fact, part of the rationale in tightening returns again is that the rates for ins have soared, thus making the whole return issue unviable. As you noted, the companies recoup "some" losses from returns.. but that's what's covered by ins.. and if ins goes up, their losses will increase. As it is, the larger stores are still suffering and don't make enough profits to maintain the operations they run. I agree with returning unused and undamaged products but to return something after you have worn it for a week, is simply deception. sorry. again.... this is my work and even if it were not, I could not agree to a lot of the too liberal return policies. Exactly.. and, in those days, retailers made a profit. Today, it's a high risk enterprise to be in retail.
I was hoping you would say that! I already have Golden in standard packaging (which I never use). Thanks for the recommendation! That's why I replied to you.
RG looks great on NC30.
There are no Mineralize SFs in this collection. It should be easier to get the (regular bronzer's) pan out, probably with the alcohol method. Can anybody help me lol ?
Thanks for this! Looks like the perfect time to try RG.As we don't know all the colors from AA yet, I can't really recommend. Most MAC bronzers are yellow-based. There are varying shades of darkness. I like the red-based bronzers you recommended; I have pretty strong yellow tones and I found Nude on Board too yellow even for me. It didn't look nearly as natural as Sun Dipped on me.As we don't know all the colors from AA yet, I can't really recommend. Most MAC bronzers are yellow-based. There are varying shades of darkness.
