MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

This is a complete skip for me! This is a first for a summer collection.

I might pick up What Comes Naturally l/l. I have it in regular packaging and it works well with nude lippies. I'm tempted by the n/p though.

For the rest of the stuff:
- bronzers are to yellow, NC-based
- ED bronzers are shimmer bombs
- My eyes don't like Pearlglides
- Nude lippie is for NC gals
- etc, etc

In a nutshell: Nice packaging, but the content is not for me. I will try to swatch in person soon before I make a final decision, but I'm not buying just for special packaging.

Exactly! ED formula + bronzer is contradictory to me.

However, I think you could create a very editorial look with the ED bronzers, but it's not what I'd actually wear on a daily basis.

Do you think that they could work as a subtle highlight for WOC? I'm thinking that if they're tan and I'm tan then it'll just look kinda glowy, but not as dramatic as Whisper of Gilt or something.

Do you think that they could work as a subtle highlight for WOC? I'm thinking that if they're tan and I'm tan then it'll just look kinda glowy, but not at dramatic as Whisper of Gilt or something.

You should try it out in person, but if you like the ED formula, it might be a better match than WOG. I like the glow you can get with ED, but with this formula, more is less IMO.

My mom may get lucky then. i find the face colors too dark for me and then i dont use bronzer or anything that gives a bronzed look.
same thing with the new MSF's, the ones that are going to be permanent. i wish they had done something lighter. like Pearl MSF

Thanks Yeah, trying it in person will be my best bet. I just know this launch is gonna be crazy smh. I like the ED formula but the lighter ones can be a bit much for everyday, so I'm hoping at least one of these will work for me. But, if not, I still have Magnetic Appeal.

Major ty to [@]Debbs[/@], [@]mosha010[/@], and source! Not much catching my eye here. I don't do bronzer, EDBs, EDES, or MAC polishes. No need for a makeup bag, the lip liners don't interest me, and I'm still on a lipgloss no-buy. Mystical and Goddess of the Sea lippies interested me until they were Cremesheens, but I'll be generous and budget for them. I'm going to call the ED "bronzers" what they really are because it will drive me otherwise... Yes to both, but only because Magnetic Appeal has changed my opinion of EDSFs. Looking like $106 including taxes. I'm sure this will shrink -- despite my massive lists thus far, the only things I've bought from MAC this year have been Phlox Garden and a 219.

Oh nooo! I was really hoping for the EDSFs to be highlighters not bronzers (after SERIOUS skippers remorse for the magnetic nude collection) I thought I would like 'enchanted one' but it sounds like it's going to be too light for my nc35 skin I don't see the need for extra dimension bronzers and normal bronzers I guess I'll just have to skip this I'm skipping PS, playland and maleficant too (wasn't blown away by any of them) I'm hoping for something amazing later this year but I feel like I put all my eggs in the AA collection and now I'm disappointed LOL!
