Yeah my Rouge status for next year is close to renewal! Shameful as I'm on a low buy and It's only April. I I haven't bought anything since Jan, until the VIB rouge sale last week. Elegant, did you do any returns? that had made my status all over the place .

I don't even want to think about renewal. I'm sure I'll get there this year (skincare and Bumble and Bumble get me most of the way there) but I don't want it to happen this early. I'm not getting a message yet to show how close I am to renewal, so hopefully it's still a ways off.

I do have a lot of points again though and I cashed them out last fall and have used at least 200 this year. I should add up my history - I must be well over halfway at this point.

Yup. $524. I stocked up on skincare and foundation when I was in NY last month and picked up a couple of sunscreen, a backup Douceur blush, stick foundation and two eyeshadow palettes during the recent sale. With the exception of a Clinique foundation and the LM Artist Palette (gifts for my daughter), it's all mine. No question that I'll hit Rouge again. I'm set for hair products, foundations, cleansers/moisturizers/serums and sunscreens for a few months but replacing skin and haircare staples and getting a few holiday sets this fall will do it.

Ok I'm going to do some major anti-enabling. And then I'm going to possibly enable some just a little bit on something else... So hopefully I'm balancing this out.

Here we go.
The ANTI-ENABLE:

After getting my taxes done I was feeling a little beaten, so I just went to LOOK at the JCPenny Sephora nearby. And I no longer have even the smallest lemming for either of the new KVD palettes. The cardboard is REALLY cheap looking. The colors look nice enough but seem to have a cheaper look to them, if that makes any sense. The one purple in the cool palette I was SUPER excited about looked like a messy glitterbomb. And the one shade I was most interested in the warm palette swatched a little dry and patchy. Overall, in person, very unimpressed. And VERY DUPABLE!
Feel so much better for not giving in to that purchase!

Now, the tiny enable, maybe...

With the Playland Collection just around the corner, I've been trying to search through the brights in my collection. Overall, I think I'm fairly satisfied with what I have and most likely will only get 1 lippie and maybe a pigment. But for those feeling the lemming hard for Spring & Summer Neon and Brights... Sephora launched 4 new shades of BRIGHT lipsticks! The placard in the store said "SEPHORA COLLECTION NEON ROUGE CREME" but online it seems its called "Escape To Rio." http://www.sephora.com/escape-to-rio-rouge-cream-lipstick-P385610?skuId=1567429
And they have cute names too (although those names aren't listed on the website): Flamingo, Hot Bikini, Samba, and Cougar!

They retail for $12.50 and would be a pretty good buy especially during this week's Sephora 15% sale! SO, for those wanting some new brights here's some pics!!

I saw that when I posted the link! They seem to have good stock in the stores if you were interested! Definitely a cheaper option than Playland. Especially if you only wanted to play around with them for a season or 2. Sometimes cheaper lippies are better for playing than feeling like you dropped too much on a pricier option. Especially if you end up not wearing it as much as you thought you would. These would be $10.62 US (after the 15% discount)... not too bad!
And you are spot on with the coral color... I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame! And last year I was all about the berry/fuchsias... so maybe I'm just a season ahead of the trends! HeeHee

I have Ladybird too and it's SUCH nice packaging!! It was a HUGE letdown to see her skimp on these new palettes after that one! The neutral shades in the Monarch palette would compliment Ladybird nicely. But I have these colors covered! And if you even have a decent collection of neutrals... you have these. And they actually look kind of cheap to me. I don't know if it's the packaging doing that to me or what. But if I would've ordered online and received it, I would have been bummed and probably returned it. We are good to skip! HTH!

yeah, I'm only getting 1 lipstick from Playland and maybe a pigment. But I'm all covered there too... especially after the few things I picked up tonight at Sephora! *confession ahead*

Although that display sucked me right over!! Maybe snag some of these instead of dropping too much on Playland?

Including shipping & taxes ordering from Sephora I'd already be headed that way. Funnily enough though I had no intentions of buying anything at all from Playland!

But then I stopped at Sephora tonight, just to "look" and ended up with this stuff too:

Bite Lip Cream in Crush
Bite Pencil in Zinfandel
OCC Lip Tar in Hush

(PS I blame ALL OF YOU for my Bite Beauty lemming... never had one at all before this sale)

In my defense, I DID swatch a ton of stuff and wanted like 10 things, but resisted. OCC Hush has been on my list forever. AND I have a JCPenney gift card and coupon that took my total for all 4 things today to only $41.39 out of my pocket. So I feel ok about picking up these things. Especially since I LOVE my Lip Tars and really wanted to try some Bite Beauty.

And T is saying Crush is a brighter dupe of Playland's Toying Around, which is the only lippie I'm thinking of getting. So MAYBE I can convince myself to skip TA!! It would be nice to skip a big MAC Collection like that!
