I have normal/dry skin and it's perfect. You know, just as long as you moisturize, you'll be fine and I don't set it either.

HG - I have many foundations on my wishlist and I still have several on rotations now, Mufe, Burberry, Nars, Givenchy. I have been eyeing Koh Ken Doh Manifanshi because it is apparently good for dry skin, but it is pricey.Do you like your Koh ken doh? Which one are you using?

as shontay said this does not need setting! and it really looked and felt good even though i have normal/dry skin

OMG I do not know even where to begin about this foundation. It is AMAZING !! I am stunned! It has the most wonderful texture I have ever felt. Literally like velvet. It dries instantly on skin, it has that powder finish but not "Dry powder" and I have to say I am surprised by how much coverage it gives. I was sure it will not cover anything but I actually achieved medium coverage that is very nicely build able to higher medium - I do not want to say full . I can;t stop touching my face that's how nice it feels! It feels like nothing on skin. And it did not accentuate any of my dry areas even though I did not moisturize before nor I put primer.
I have B20 and it's little too dark for me right now, it would be my summer color, so I would order B10

i bought this too.. as well as the CD, Koh Gen Do, BB stick.. lol.

I might just round out the week and buy another two.. lol.

I was being good too HG---I was actually down to four foundations which is pretty good for me.
Well because of Shontay & Elegant One I've added two & I'm considering a third.

If you have super dry skin like mine (thank you winter), you should be careful when using this foundation. Make sure you apply a super hydrating serum/moisturizer before putting this foundation on or you will end up with visible dry patches all over your face. This foundation also doesn't play nice with my Japanese sunscreen (Mentholatum). I guess I'll have to start looking for a new sunscreen ... again.

Other than these, I prefer this over PL any time any day.

Well I finally got to wear my Perfection Lumiére Velvet today. It is everything that everyone has said, and then some.
The formula is very light and blends almost effortlessly. The end result is soft, seamless---sheer velvet!
I wish I had a better photo to share but my iPAD was all that I had at hand to take a quick photo.
I was also wearing Chanel JC Canaille 89.

Looking great! Glad you love it! I haven't worn another foundation since I got my hands on it. It just melts into the skin and it works so well with everything else you put on your face. It's just made of love and fairy dust.
