I didn't read through too thoroughly, but they mentioned the lipsticks come in three different finishes. I think they're making a general statement about all the lipsticks in the range and not the new shades specifically. The pictures make them seem like satin to me.
Gracias!

I need to get out of the this thread, suppose to be on a low buy, you know learning to love what I have but I do love to treat myself for my B-day, plus my friends and family know a Sephora or Nordstrom gift card is always welcome. Between the Bite lip glosses, lemming a Chanel JC blush, checking out these ole hen wipes and all this talk of colorful eyeliners my cart is looking quite full!

Mini review!!!

Marc Jacobs Highliner in (Plum)Age
Described as a Vivid Purple
Similar to UD 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Psychedelic Sister. MJ has more shimmer.

I've only swatched this on my hand when it came in the mail yesterday. I went about my usual daily routines which includes multiple hand washings. This liner is still on my hand this morning as I sit here typing. It isn't as vibrant as when I initally put it on my hand but I'm rather surprised to still see it there. The shimmer is faded but the base color is still apparent. I bought this because of elegant ( don't a lot of us buy things because of elegant one?

) and basically threw this in my bag on the last day of the sale. If money was not a concern I would quickly purchase another one in another color. I'm interested in (Wave)length. Finances aside I think this is a great liner. It's smooth and creamy. Glides on without tugging or pulling. I'm going to test this out today or tomorrow on my waterline and update this post accordingly.
Update!
I wore this liner on my lower lash line today. Just bearly in the waterline. I was a bit weary because of the shimmer in the liner. This liner performed on my eyes the same way it performed on my hand. It did not move! I used my Embryolisse lotion Micellaire to remove it and it did so without extra tugging and pulling.

Sooo after trying so many under eye things to help my old ass I am thinking of going back to YSL Touche Eclat. Thing is, I don't know my color and google isn't helping me. I don't know if I should get 5 or 5.5. 5 is for olive and golden undertones and 5.5 is golden undertones. I'm thinking I need 5, but wth do I know? I'd like to order, but I might have to wait and see it in person. That's so annoying because I'm trying to add something to my order of one of the new MUFE shadow sticks.
are you using it as a brightener? or concealer?

I had the hardest time picking out a shade. I think I'm going to go to the ysl counter and ask them. I used to be 4, but 6.5 looks really good if I want a concealer. Now as far as a highlighter? No effin clue.
Would you use these to contour? Just asking, I saw someone mention it on their blog.

Brightener. It doesn't have enough coverage to conceal. I used to use 4 too and I have no idea why they dropped it. As for contouring, that's amazing to me. I don't see how that would work unless you're pretty fair, but either way I'm not interested in using it for that.

I ordered the ABH Contour palette and rushed to checkout. I'm $2 away from being Rouge lol. I would have stalled and found a simple sale item for it, but I was on my phone at work and didn't want to risk the palette selling out by dawdling

Anyone buy the Urban Decay creme liner? Is it as dark as the pencil? Is it darker than the Mac creme liner?
I swatched it at the store during the sale. It's just as dark as the pencil. I really really really want to purchase it but I have a 1/4 of a TARTE emphasEYES to finish and a MAC Blacktrack Fluidline waiting in the wings.

Thanks for the info. I use Perversion as a tightliner and it works really well but the few times I've used it to line the upper lash line, I've made a mess. I think I have just become used to using creme liners now and need to practice with pencils again. I love how dark Perversion is. I may give the Perversion creme a go.

I've heard the liquid liner pen is great for tightlining. I think Shontay has it.

The gel liner is definitely just as black as the pencil. It's amazing. I love the pen too but the idea of using a liquid to tightline freaks me out. Actually the thought of tightlining freaks me out completely. I just wiggle the pencil or brush between my lashes to make sure there's no gaps.

Tightlining has become a lot easier for me. I watched a few youtube videos on a couple of methods. Tried them and then adapted it to make it easy for me. I basically just squint and move the liner on the upper waterline. I look in the mirror as I'm doing it but I don't actually see much until I'm done. I don't get all the tears anymore. I do like the UD pencil best for this as my other pencils seem to develop a film after I use them and I have to sharpen them each time I use it making me go through them quite fast but not this one.

I'll look into the cream liner. I'm kind of happy with my Tom Ford double pen liner right now. Perhaps when I run out I'll try the UD pen. Thanks.

See if Sephora has a 100 point perk for it or ask for a sample the next time you are in store. Let me know what you think of it once you get it. It absorbs into my skin without leaving it greasy. I use it over my moisturizer.  Now that you mentioned how the colors match up to the Electric palette I have the purple one in my bag and the lime green one in my loves.
Just so happens that sephora has this as one of their online samples! Awesome timing.
