Mine arrives tomorrow so I'll check it out and see if it also looks funny. I ordered a kit the other day and the safety seal was broken off of its box and a few of the bottles/containers were midway out of their slots (talking about the NUDE Essential Skin Radiance Kit). I returned the kit for that alone, so now I'm worried about the palette, too.

its not that bad. its more work for me to return it but it looks like a finger swatch for sure. if it was a liquid id take it back for sure but this isnt worth the gas money

received my hourglass palette. the incandescent light looks swatched... umm eewwhh?
does the warehouse fondle them before shipment? i really like dim light. wondering if i should just get the larger size

i honestly dnt think you'll even finish the mini's in the palette.

Im VIB and they never said there were only 500 available. it didnt even say LE in the site.

i thought it was going to be a Shade Exclusive to sephora. like the OCC Nylon liptar.

I know I wanted candy so bad...i had No idea it was so limited and I am a rouge VIB!!

I only glanced at that Too Faced shade b/c I really wanted the coral. I thought Sephora tried to pull the okie dok and just renamed the fuchsia shade to make it seem exclusive. :dunno: I got both of my packages today. The jury is out on the Anastasia palette until I try it on my face. The powders are soft and pigmented, but the contour shades aren't that deep at all. Can't imagine they'll do much for someone darker than myself. The MUFE pencils are beautiful. I got the acid green and taupe. They glide on with hardly any pressure at all! Right after swatching them I tried to casually remove them with tissue and they barely moved. They're still on my hand. :lol: I am definitely getting more next week. I'll probably end up with all but 2.

I have only one Illamsqua (sp?) polish right now (Creator). I love it and bought it during VIB last november, in store. So some of them do, but only a row or so of colours.

Good to know, thanks! Maybe I'll check for my Purity the next time I'm near a Sephora.

I suppose the easiest thing to do with the online store credit would be to get a different nail polish so it's exactly the same price, but part of me feels like I need to stop ordering nail polishes online, even though I've gotten others in perfectly okay condition. Decisions, decisions...

Brightener. It doesn't have enough coverage to conceal. I used to use 4 too and I have no idea why they dropped it. As for contouring, that's amazing to me. I don't see how that would work unless you're pretty fair, but either way I'm not interested in using it for that.

I know, but some folks use it for that too. I think I liked 5.5. I can post pics later. But I'm still going to a YSL counter. LOL

i meant instead of the palette but you're right even with the small one i wouldn't get through it so might as well keep the extra shades

A couple of mine looked like that although there were no fingerprints on the case. I think it just has to do with manufacturing or the powder just looks smeared naturally sometimes.

I don't know if there were prints because I opened it quick as I could in excitement. It looked like someone swiped it back and forth twice. Just the middle color. Not really a big deal and I'm not going to complain to them or call but "ewwh" was definitely my first thought. It's nothing like the Mac fiasco so it seems so very minor lol

Meh. Do you prefer Tarte to other brands? They aren't the most impressive cream eyeshadows. I liked them when I first got into makeup but then tried a number of other products and now I never use them.

Did anyone purchase the Pantone cheek palette, with the 3 blushes? I just went to look for it and it's no longer on the site, it was even deleted from my loves list, which is so odd b/c even items that are out of stock permanently seem to stay on the list. The lipstick seems to be gone too.

i bought mine during the sale. i was on the fence about it but the SA said that they only had 2 left in store and to grab it as they didn't make nearly as many as they did the palettes. the palettes i think we will see for quite awhile. is the search still available where you can search by zipcode to find a store? otherwise maybe try calling sephora.com and they can guide you to a store that still has them. i know last time i was at my Sephora they had tons of lipsticks but were sold out of the lip balm. try calling around.
