What Disco'd product do you miss the most and why?

I wish I would've hoarded more Kissables too. I only got Flaunting It and Scandelicious. What shades do you have? And which ones are you looking for?
Flaunting It is one of my favorite lippies, period! Unfortunately, it's the only lip product I've owned that went off on me - the color changed, the smell was weird and it made my lips sting!

I had a BU, though, so it went in the B2M pile immediately. I had used more than half the tube before it went off, so it wasn't a waste. None of my other Kissables ever went bad.

EXXXhibitionist and Flaunting It were my two biggest loves from that collection. I backed them both up. Happy to say, XXXhibitionist's color has a very close dupe with one of the Mineralize lipglasses that's perm - I'm forgetting off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure it's Be Nice. Also, Star Quality csg was similar too, so I've got plenty of options for that really wearable coral. Flaunting It is much less dupable for now. I also love and got a lot of use out of Super, but again, similar shades keep coming around so it's not the end of the world when I run out. Peacocky, of course, is awesome, although it only gets used a few times a year. Love Peck is beautiful and I do rather ration it - it's one of the nicest vampy lips I have. I also have Strut Your Stuff. Kind of wished I had So Vain, but I'm not going to try and find someone's old tube of it. It's a color we see in a lot of formulas currently, so it's not the end of the world.

I'd be perfectly OK with more Patentpolish pencils, rather than bringing back the Kissables; or something new that's like Kissables 2.0. Technology marches on!

Thanks, Liba, after being ignored and several lack of responses i completely agree with you to leave folks old tubes, lol, alone. I was thinking that i was sending too many pm so I closed the ISO early not factoring a bunch of stuff, smh. New technology and dupes, going bad, other high end brands etc as you mentioned are validation. Plus sometimes being ignored kinda brings you back to reality and a few things that you long suspected are put in a better light and perspective! Not even having any emotions about it as its clearly understood why etc. Keeping it moving!!! Next!

Anyone know how to store these VE backups? Frige? Just a cool place? @liba what are you doing w your BU's?

PBI but it's so good to see not only I back things up - and some even more than me. Phew?
I don't exactly know what that product is, but I store all of my BU's in a box in the closet, e.g. dark and somewhat cool. HTHS.

I HAD to back this product up! It's a Holy Grail Level product for me and I cannot imagine not having it. But it is a skincare type product so I know it has a shorter shelf life. Just hoping to extend it as long as I can! I have my BU's in a box in a cool place too. Was just wondering if putting it in the refrigerator might help?
I ONLY BU things now I KNOW I will ACTUALLY use! I used to back something up as soon as I found i liked it... Now, I'm purging BU's and restricting myself. Too much makeup, not enough time or face! LOL

I'm going to my mall this weekend and may check my 2 MAC counters. But TBH, I probably won't make it through the 4 I have before they go bad... Since it's skincare, I'm not sure how long they can honestly last! That's what has me slightly nervous to back it up too much more. I thought 1 more would be ok. But it got cancelled. So I tried to see it as a sign. LOL I have 4 BU's now... I don't know what in the world I'll replace this product with!

Naw! Yeah, I KWIM. I've had change of hearts regarding things I KNEW I'd use though (and I'm not that kind of person really, so it's rare), and meanwhile they turned weird ... guess it's a risk one takes though, right? It's good not to BU stuff just automatically nevertheless, good job! I'm doing the exact same thing right now to be honest ... but w/ stuff I "knew" I'd use:/ My thing is I often find those HG items and then they get disc'd - then I panic and bulk up. Works many times, sometimes not.

I see. Hmwell, if you don't mind having cosmetics in there, I think I'd put it there actually. Keep it sealed/boxed and in the fridge. I'd also Google the "technique" to see if there was any talk about it, pros/cons, hazards, what do I know ... YVW and good luck!

I go through about a bottle every five months. So I should be ok for almost the next 2 years! Think that should be ok and give me time to find a decent replacement!
@liba loves it too, so I'm hoping she'll know what to do with these BU's. She's in with the MAC artists, so maybe they have told her already...

Well, how long does one last you, approximately? And what does the "best before" say, if there's any? Usually, things last quite a bit AFTER that, that's just how long they guarantee stuff to last (same w/ food for that matter). Smell, touch, taste (well, food - not makeup and use your own judgement.

Yeah. 1 more was kinda pushing it. Probably for the best it was Out Of Stock. I think I'll be ok. Surely SOMETHING has to come along I'll like before 2 years! HeeHee

The SAs agreed that refrigerating would be a bad idea. It was a consensus to store in a cool, dry place. The VE's shelf life is 2 years.

nonmac, i really REALLY miss lancome's ablutia cleanser. it was pink, foamy, and perfect for oily skin without being drying. i still remember the smell. i have a clarisonic now, and i just want to try the ablutia with it sooo badly.
