MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

Hey ladies,I just got back from the counter, everything was in stock and nothing was sold out! I bought Enchanted One and Aphrodite's Shell! Enchanted One is exactly like the description, a beautiful nude matte lipstick.  But Aphrodite's Shell really surprised me! It's so different from the other MAC ED skinfinishes, less shimmery!

These swatches have been super helpful - thanks so much! Aphrodite's Shell is off my list and Delphic is tentative Still want GotS for sure and I'll think I'll get Refind Golden. Still unsure about the blushes. They're gorgeous in the pan, though I don't know how they'll look on NC50. Hope to see more swatches of those on deeper skin tones before it launches here. One of the blogs Nay recently posted allowed me to cross a couple more of the EDES of my list - so yay!

Ugh! I wish I didn't love this collection as much as I do!
I really wish I felt underwhelmed and meh about it, honestly! I am scaaared of the $$$ I will be laying down for this collection.

I do think it has some brown in it yes, on me it's a vey close dupe for cosmo which we know can be quite a brown pink, this is however a tiny bit more pink and sheer than cosmo if that helps, (I posted them swatched next to each other afew posts back) I really like the deep rose pinks on my lips but I know a lot of people hate anything that pulls out browns n if that's the case it may not be for you, I hope that made sense? xx

Thank you! I gues I'll pass then, I'm not sure if brown pinks are for me. Maybe I'll try Cosmo first, but - probably - before that happens, the collection will already be sold out.

All these swatches of Mystical make me still doubt about it. I keep thinking of excuses why it didn't look good on me. Maybe it was bad lighting in the Mac store, maybe it was because I've just been wearing orange lipstick...

Ok, based on all I have seen and not seen as yet I have probably the weirdest list! Modern Lure and Seducing Sound lipglosses (took out Water Dieties as Impossibly Sweet, Flash of Flesh, Soft Serenade etc don't get a lot of wear) I have all the edes mentally but will narrow them down with more swatches. Pre January low buy Amorous Alloy nightmare from 3 to 0 (long story still have me salty and overcompensating) and new addition to list is both make up brushes. Confident with my choices so far even missing out on the compact packaging. JChait thanks for coming to the rescue in a mighty big way darling! Smooches xoxoxo

I'm also interested on modern lure! I have nothing like this and been putting gloss over my deep purples and Berries to make them glossy. Now this would solve that equation!

Finally caught up w the thread. And looked at swatches on IG. This is almost a month away but my list goes up and down ridiculous everyday. I hope I get it together by release. Anyone gotten other swatches of modern lure? I want to see more of that and the edes

The swatches of the nude lipstick are making me think again about getting it. It looks so pretty!

Video Review! She's a deeper medium skintone. She did swatches of the ED Bronzers and Blushes, and Enchanted One and Mystical. I've been subscribed to Shahleena for awhile and saw this pop up in my subscriptions. Hope it helps!

I don't know if I want Aphrodite's Shell now. It hardly shows up. But I will definitely be getting Refined Golden. The blushes are still a skip.
