MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

My list keeps expanding then contracting.

Want a lipstick for the pretty packaging, but cannot really justify, these are all so, well, meh. Since I cannot find my PMP, from Felines, it makes the most sense to get it. GotS is really pretty, though, but I have a thousand like it, but then again, the packaging is awesome. Confused/
Aphrodite Shell is at the top of the list, but it is looking more and more like it could be too orange. I have some many darn EDSF I am now being picky. (but I love the packaging)
Don't need Golden, but want the compact.
See Me Hear Me is the only thing I know for sure, and I still can't get a bead on whether it is going to lean too warm or not.
Have way too much gloss, and never wear it practically, but love the colors AND the packaging.

Need swatches of the 2 plum/purplish EDES to compare to purples that have previously been released. Wonder if LoraLei is warm toned or cool, loving the swatches, but no one really describes the colors, and not sure I can trust the filter, the monitor, the lighting (like T's lighting, could everything look more orange than it really is???) Swatches are NOT helping at all.

Need a NW toned gal in the pasty range to swatch these EDB/EDSF and let me know if any of them are cool toned? On the monitor, I really cannot tell what is pink and what is peach toned in this collection! Mythical goes from brick red to blue toned pink depending who is doing the swatching!!!

Guess this is one I will have to see in person...

So AA released totally unexpected on the german MAC site today and I missed it. Two hours later and most things are sold out, even the polishes & brushes, and Golden bronzer is missing completely. We do have the bag, but it's sold out, too. The ED bronzers are 32€. :shock:  

As i posted last week, AA will release VERY soon in Europe.

Hi everyone I've been checking Specktra quite a lot recently so I though I'd finally get a profile here, too. Actually the AA fiasco on the German MAC website made me join right now.

@Naynadine I realized the collection had been up and all the lipsticks were sold out just minutes before you posted! I immediately checked the thread and expected some major drama on here. Is this going to be available online through Douglas and/or Breuninger? I really wanted to save myself from going to the store and I'm sooo frustrated right now. As usual, MAC collection mail alert right after everything's sold out.

This collection should be available everywhere. I do expect it to launch May 2, but as you can see, with MAC you never know... I'll stalk Douglas so I can use my gift cards.

I'm going to check out the rest of the collection when it launches on counters on Thursday. I'll do what I can to get pics. Anything in particular from previous collections you want to compare to? If I have them and remember I can take them with me...

It's the same on the Austrian site ... I also couldn't get a golden bronzer. Almost everything sold out immediately.

I'm going to throw a major tantrum if I won't get what I want on Friday. I know that the employees are going to buy a few things before the store even opens and it's okay - I would do the same - but if anything is sold out before I get a chance to get my hands on it, I'll throw a fit. With the official MAC site already sold out, there aren't many other possibilities left if you want to make sure you get everything you want.

Wow, it seems this coll is doing good. Probably in part of the special packaging too, I've added a shadow to my list...maybe. But I need to see it irl or swatches.
