OK, this is something i've been thinking about for weeks, but haven't known where to ask, so i'm plunging ahead in this thread. If there is a more appropriate place, i'd be happy to move my query over there...

I've been subscribing to Allure for a few years, mostly for skin care tips, but i'd like a magazine with more interesting or unusual fashion makeup.

I am not a pro MUA and i don't do theatrical makeup anymore. I occasionally wear lipstick in grey, blue, teal, metallic green, or mint; i'm not afraid to put odd or bright colors on my eyes; I've even used MAC Reflects Blue on my cheeks as a highlight. And none of this is for special events, but just because i love colors.

Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
Ohh I don't have any recs but I would love this too. Bonus points if I can get it on my ipad!

I hope the mini pigments get released in Australia..are they pro only? I doubt I'd ever get through an entire container of pigment, I have Blue Brown, but I also really want Kitschmas and maybe an antique gold type colour as well.

That's a great topic, lilinah! I created a thread for it in the Cosmetic Discussion forum, so that people can weigh in.

Hope that leads to some useful places for you to look!

Thank you, katred

So I just called my local pro store. They lady had to check to make sure they were even getting them. She originally told me that they were online only. I think she may be confused because she told me that they can be backed to mac if they are all together in a set. Like the holiday sets. I was under the impression that you can buy these individually.

Yes they're individual, and are in stores this thursday.

I like the travel size. Is it new for just the pigments? I never noticed the other stuff, it's a great way for me to try stuff out!

I love the mini oil control lotion and fix+ i carry them everywhere. as far as mini lipglasses go, i probably wont get those since the regular are not huge, but its a good idea and they are cute. I have some from holiday sets. The mini pigments are genius tho as i have so many huge ones and i want two of the colors they made mini!!

I'm really looking forward to getting some of the mini pigments. I hope they expand the range!
I hope that they expand the range, too! I have most of the colors, and all of the colors I want out of the current line up in full size. Although it's tempting to buy some mini's for travel, but I keep telling myself I can do that with sample jars for free :)

Rose is beautiful on -- I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do (I was afraid it'd make me look tired) -- but I wear it with the deep purple out of the lorac pro palette in the outer v and crease and a black winged liner and get about a zillion compliments every time I wear it.

That sounds beautiful! I have green eyes and I think that color might really bring them out. I just might have to get that one!

I also have green eyes, and it definitely does bring them out. I really like it. It's a little ... chunkier (?) for lack of a better word, so I do use it with the Too Faced Glitter Glue, which keeps it in place nicely. If you've never used the Glitter Glue - I recommend it for ALL pigments. It's amaze-balls. You can get it at Sephora for about $20. It's a little expensive, but it lasts forever because you only need a tiny amount (only put it where you want the pigment, ie on the lid, because it makes it hard to blend in the crease if you go too high).

Sephora came out with a Sephora brand, but I've never tried it. I might try it next because I think it's about half the price. If it works that would be awesome.
