I called my closest mac store in hopes of them getting this early and me being able to swatch and narrow down my ridiculously long list, but nada. I'll keep stalking them.

So I think I finally made my list. I thought about it all day today while I rhinestone-d my Heroine lippie. It turned out fabulous btw!
pic pic pic!
Am I hallucinating or is Golden actually prettier than AS?  If you had to do it over, and you only could buy one, which would you pick?
This is what I thought with those swatches too. Now I am confused about the bronzers AND the lipsticks..!
Not so much. You could force it but it there are definitely better bronzers out there for cool toned peeps.  I don't know where I got the idea that the word "pink" was at all associated with AS, cos there's no pink in it.
b-b-b-ut...:(
I tried to take pics in a variety of lights, and in some of them Golden does seem to have more pink, but I think it actually has more orange-red in it, so still more warm toned than 'pink'.
Hmmm...:s Thanks for the swatches, and for replying. I think I will just have to go in store and see

I'm really not liking the wait but the pics do really help. Although my list has gotten ridiculous at this point. :p

I like the split fiber brushes. Anyone have any idea how different from or similar to the AA 233 eye brush is that one linked above from Magnetic Nude, i think it's 235? I have it and don't need two.

And here's Temptalia's review of the AA brushes. It may already have been posted here - if so, i missed it

SRSLY! Golden looks more neutral that Aphrodite's Shell!

I'm definitely getting Golden anyway, for the compact, but shockingly it looks like it may be more wearable for me than Aphrodite's Shell.

Of course, on a fairly recently posted German website [http://www.bambidoes.de/nicht-nur-alluring-aquatic/], the blogger looks good in AS and she looks pale and not warm, so i guess i still have to see it in real life... but if it's as yellow as it usually looks, it's absolutely a no-go for me.

I'm so stressed out after being cursed and banned on IG. So now I put AS BACK on my list. I blame @sevenofnine and @dolly snow. I just blame dolly for all the enabling. She has nothing to do but I need a scapegoat. Lol.
hahaha I'll take the blame! :haha:

Give me a nice subtle bronzer intended for NWs any day; my current love is Guerlain Terracotta 00. Expensive, but so perfect that I don't mind.

Yeah, sigh, that's on my wish list. I got the Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons in Blondes 01 - back when there was only one Blonde - it's the lighter more neutral one of the two out now. It is an astonishingly luxe item, both the product and the packaging. The extreme fineness of the powder, its matteness, the fact that i can choose among 4 colors, all make it workable. I don't wear bronzer, i use it for contouring.

But Nude 00 will be infinitely better for my coloring. I've been on Team Low Buy this year, so i may be able to justify getting it.

I bought the Terracotta because it was all one (absolutely perfect for me) colour, although I was tempted by the 4 Seasons. I've only had the Terracotta a few days, but it's become part of my daily routine. What I like about it is that it doesn't look like I'm wearing bronzer (or anything); it's so finely milled that it just melts into my skin, somehow makes my pores look better and just looks like I've been outdoors for a bit. It doesn't glitter or sparkle (shudder), I don't look ridiculous…just healthy.

I did try the 4 Seasons but I did too much applying/removing of bronzers at the counter. I'm prone to reactive redness and testing out and removing several cause me to get red and then I really can't tell what works. I love the look of Nude but it didn't really show on me. I'll have to try both Nude and Natural Blondes again some day when I haven't stressed my skin out. I think what I have will last a long time, so I'm not in any hurry.

I've tried MAC and NARS bronzers and there is just no comparison; they're not in the same league. To be fair, the Guerlain are far more costly but I don't mind that given that I'll only have one or two and they'll last a long time.

For some reason, I'm having anxiety at the thought that this collection is going to release early and then I'll miss out. Am I the only one feeling this way? I know I have a huge makeup addiction of mostly MAC and Chanel and I own enough to open a store. No lie! The Man even moved into the guest bathroom so I can have the master and all the extra space. We just moved to this new place and I still have boxes of makeup to unpack. Yes, boxes!! Yet I'm dying for this collection to launch as I love all things Extra Dimension. Hi! My name is smooches and I'm an addict...

All the lippies besides sirens sing, and a refined golden bronzer, and an Aphrodite shell. Probably no blushes since I have not even used the Proenza ones yet.
