I just pressed lightly on the surface and my finger basically fell into it! It's a shame too because the color of Golden in this release is much less yellow than I remember it being in the permanent line, in fact it is nearly the same color as Aphrodite's Shell, just with a bit more pigmentation when built up, and with golden shimmer.
Also, I wasn't even going crazy for the packaging in this collection UNTIL I SAW THIS IN REAL LIFE. It is fucking gorgeous!

The good news is that MAC is refunding me and letting me keep the bronzer AND this issue is being reported to the higher ups since I told them I had heard on other forums that this was more than a one-off issue. My advice would be to steer clear of buying this until someone sorts out the issue because I can't imagine that this is not going to fall apart into a giant dust storm if I try to take it anywhere besides my vanity.

I tried to press my finger in mine when I got it, to see if it would make a dent, but it didn't. I only tried carefully, though.

WHEW!!!! Finally caught up on the thread - skipped a chunk of old pages but read thru the last few hundred posts, OMG - all the pretty pictures are making me very impatient. I cannot wait until this collection launches. My list has gone up and down so many times. I will end placing my order and selecting items at the same time. I want the EDES but why aren't they the 'regular' size that we have come to know and love????

The voice in the back of my head is saying...get the shadows...get them.... I must fight the urge......they a so pigmented and shimmery everything I want in my shadow..ugh!

Just sticking to Lorelei, Golden, and Mystic it seems for my list. lol

I was just about to post the look below saying the same thing. It reminds me quite a lot of Sex and the Oyster. I actually really like it, but I won't use it in the same way that I would have used it if it looked how I expected it to (hope that makes sense).



A look sort-of inspired by some of the face charts they had out at my local counter, with Silver Sun, Enchanted One, Aphrodite's Shell, NARS Torrid (one of my favourite blushes), and this year's Perfect Topping.
