Thank's love! Very pinup-classic nails!Honi you look absolutely stunning---lovely nail porn too!
I don't think it's that as much as I think people are just blah over the whole collection, so it is't selling out so fast. Watch, when the Osbournes collection comes out, it will sell out in the blink of an eyeThis must have been the most stock MAC has ever had for a LE + Special Packaging collection. Holy heck, I am impressed.
You look LOVELY dear!
Maybe so. I see people whining on the MAC Facebbok page about it. I just need to vent. The colors don't match the cartoon, BECAUSE THIS IS FOR THE NEEEWWWW MOVIE. Yeah there are repromotes but it is far more wearable and work safe than VV. It also is not product over load. I guess MAC can't please everyone but I still know how much SE packaging drives lip stick sales for MAC and for them to still not be sold out, I am impressed.I don't think it's that as much as I think people are just blah over the whole collection, so it is't selling out so fast. Oh totally I understand why they're not purples and greens like the VV ones but they could of at least made one or two new i shadows in the palette rather than putting carbon in a quad again. Though I dark green would have been kind of cool because of her eyes. The BP and Sculpting products though I thought were a great choice been of how she looks in the movie.....I think it's mainly the quad that is a blah for me.Maybe so. I didn't think it'd be at all like the cartoon version. I get what they did with the collection, but I was hoping for something different and not just a bunch of perm items slapped in special packaging at a markup. That's why I think a lot of people are so upset. At least that's why I am.Maybe so. I see people whining on the MAC Facebbok page about it. I just need to vent. Yes, but Carbon is the most over done shadow in a lot of MAC quads. I also wish for new shades. I skipped the quad but for people newer to MAC or that just collect Disney stuff, it is more wearable than VV was for them. I see the draw in it for the Disney fan even if not the die hard MAC addict.Oh totally I understand why they're not purples and greens like the VV ones but they could of at least made one or two new i shadows in the palette rather than putting carbon in a quad again. IMO there are sooo many colors out there and it was better than renaming them but the product being the same or a near dupe and calling it "new". That is just me though. I am ready for more duochromes and VP shadows but I don't think sparkly or shimmery that I like would have fit this release.I didn't think it'd be at all like the cartoon version. I understand why it's not the cartoon like colors but her magic is green and she lives in the forest so I think green would have been completely appropriate for this collection. Either as an eyeshadow or a nail polish! That's just my opinion though These are all "classic" colors to match the movie but it would have been nice to have one or two "fun" colors thrown in, that also fit the palette of the movie.Oh totally I understand why they're not purples and greens like the VV ones but they could of at least made one or two new i shadows in the palette rather than putting carbon in a quad again. There are a ton of colors out there, the quad is a nice looking neutral quad that fits the look of the film and is wearable. I also do not understand why it is being compared to the animated film or why people thought it'd be another VV. I only wish that they had given us an original collection with items original to the collection that's all. To be so excited about something for so long only to find out that it's full of items that you more than likely already have is kind of a let down is all. I also wish they had made the beauty powder WOC friendly and had more than one sculpting powder to fit more skin tones, that to me is the biggest let down of all. I would of loved to of bought the BP, but I don't want to spend money on something to walk around looking an ashy mess.IMO there are sooo many colors out there and it was better than renaming them but the product being the same or a near dupe and calling it "new". They defffinitely should have had a sculpting powder in every shade, because that is what makes Maleficent, Maleficent!!There are a ton of colors out there, the quad is a nice looking neutral quad that fits the look of the film and is wearable. That is true but I copied and pasted what was on MAC's FB about that. They used the colors SHE picked and I guess that is why. It is what was used and worked for her skin tone but was not all inclusive. I think it was a Disney collector release more than a MAC addict release though. They do, you would just have to swap it from the pan to the compact released with this. They defffinitely should have had a sculpting powder in every shade, because that is what makes Maleficent, Maleficent!!
I think she meant they should of put more than one option in the packaging and released it. I get that the colours were supposedly all chosen by Angelina and it is more a collector release than anything, but geez there aren't just Angie toned Disney collectors out there. They do, you would just have to swap it from the pan to the compact released with this.
Don't think people really think Mac did anything wrong and no they can't control what was used in the movie really but again it's just sad that the collection was so plain compared to what they could have done with it. Like added a green (even humid if they wanted not make a new one and to keep it dark). Hopefully it'll be something they will keep in mind if they ever team up for a movie again to see if they can get some creative liberties. That is true but I copied and pasted what was on MAC's FB about that.
