RiRi Viva Glam 2014

Does anybody know how I could make my Viva Glam Riri more wearable on my pale NW complexion? I'm lighter than NW15, couldn't be matched properly. Haven't worn this lipstick yet because I feel despite it being called a cool-toned red it looks too orangey/warm on my lips. I tried pairing it with different liners (though I don't have many to choose from) and also tried combining it with Rebel hoping that the purplish color would give it more of a blue tone. I don't know if that makes any sense tbh. I'd love to wear it once in a while because I love the packaging and it's my only shiny/frosty lipstick.

Maybe use a lip brush to apply and/or blot after application to make the color less intense. Some lip primers and balms also sheer out the color
a bit too. Or mix the lipstick with a neutral gloss or a gloss you like.

Hmm.. I don't feel like it's too bright. I wear a lot of bright colors and it never bothers me..it's just too warm for me I guess. But thanks for the advice I'll give it a try!

Have you tried wearing it with Nightmoth liner?

From a few pages back:
Looks like the next VG Riri could be a silvery grey...
There's a pic & swatch, but not sure yet if I can share and if it's the real deal... but it looks like the one she is wearing in this pic she tweeted that was tagged #sneekpeekofmynextMACproject, so I *think* it could be it. More Rihanna For MAC? Her Gray Hair Could Be A Clue! | CocoPerez.com
Someone sent me this link. Apparently it says not to share the pic, but it's obviously posted there for everyone to see anyway, so... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...273.1073741848.161717370651666&type=1&theater
Yes it is confirmed. Sorry, let me clarify. They will continue to do viva glam collections, but the will do two a year (based on what the mua said). So the next Viva glam riri will be out by summer 2014.
I just came home from the MAC counter and the MUA informed me that there will be another release in the summer. She said the are not doing collections for a year anymore, but for about 6 month duration. Regardless of how well the colour sells. That is why Viva Nicki 2 was pulled so early. She did not tell me the colour. She said that they have not yet released that information. Love the packaging but can't do frost. My heart won't let me.
