I think TLK is my favorite red at the moment. I also decided I hate retro mattes lol.

So on that note, I plan to buy some back ups when they hit the stores. I did confirm my mac store will be getting them. What time should I wait outside? (yay summer break) They open at 10. Any ideas? I'm not quite sure how popular the lipstick will be. It took awhile to sell out online but I think a lot of people gave it positive reviews after they received it. So more people may be interested. How many of each item do mac stores normally get?

and as a side note, most of the time, for photo sessions, the muas can use the line they are promoting, as well as other products to give desired effects.

the TLK looks pink in some swatches.. and on AJ it looks more orange.. lol

I would say that it's sort of more orange than pink, although underlying lip color may influence it.

amen... I rest my case. Either it's not TLK or TLK was doctored to suit AJ, or ... TLK will look different on everybody cause everybody's lip pigmentation is different.

I feel like it suits so many people because somehow it takes on a little bit of their underlying lip color (also just because it's a stand-out red)? It slightly alters it, probably

I checked right now, and that lip looks was all three items layered together:
"PENCIL: Kiss Me Quick Pro Longwear Lip Pencil
LIPSTICK: True Love’s Kiss Lipstick with 316 Brush
GLOSS: Anthurium Pro Longwear Lipglass". So I guess it wasn't it alone, but even with the other items influencing it, I would say the original color is sort of orange tinged.

I used Cherry liner earlier today and it turned bright, pin-up red on me.

Awwwww thanks so much hergreyness I was thinking it pulls a little pink on me too I didn't fill in my lips with a liner just the out line so I'm guess I'm not going crazybecause on me it looks a lil pinky red
