So funny to see this! I was so in love with Sex Ray for a minute. I still have one, BNIB.
Does anyone know if Modern Lure looks anything like this? I know the glitter here is bigger, but is the color similar? This is Sex Ray, one of my all-time favorites from long ago.

oh dear Genn.. I had a double diskectomy (sp sucks).. and it took the wind out of me. I now have a steel implant in my spine. I was in my 40's but it happened. After the surgery I got a MRSA bacteria and was in a wheelchair for 9 months. I re-learned how to walk but it took awhile. This is when I found Specktra since I had more time to burn.

It took almost two years.. but I have been back doing all my exercise since then with no problems. there is no age for shit happening. Just the will to overcome it.

best of luck

I might be going through this soon. I'm only 24 but due to a car accident about 4 years ago (broke my neck in two places) I have spinal damage. Just last year I started having problems with my lower back, it's gotten to the point where I can no longer stand for more than 5 minutes at a time because the disc is pressing on the nerves in my left leg. There's a protruding disc in my lower back, spinosis (or something like that) in my neck, and I think something may be happening with the middle of my back now as well. I went through two months of physical therapy with no results. My regular doctor thinks I most likely will have to have surgery. I FINALLY go see the neurosurgeon on wednesday to see what they think we should do.

Any advice for if I have to have the back surgery? I'm pretty nervous but also just really looking forward to not being in pain 24/7.

oh my ... so sorry to hear of your pain sitrfryedshana.. that's awful. I had to have urgent surgery but if I had to have it again, I would consult two doctors. Since you have multiple sites for a possible surgery, it could be a long long operation. Mine was lumbar and it took 10 hours..make sure you ask which area would they operate on first.

Don't overthink.. the back is all nerves. Even if I get hyper my back can go out.. so if you start feeling pain and it travels, it's part of the way the central nervous system is processing pain either from lumbar or cervical..

I am not sure but your Doctor will be able to tell you more. Ask lots of questions and don't jump into surgery immediately. There are alternative exercises, therapy and even acupuncture can work to alleviate the pain.

best of luck and let me know via pm how you are doing

For me, weightloss and inversion therapy have been amazing. I herniated 2 disks where the lumbar and thorasic meet when I was 20 in a wreck and thankfully have been able to avoid that surgery so far. I have stenosis or narrowing of the canal now and arthritis but that surgery scares me silly. Good luck!

If I did it.. so can you!!
LOL. Love the heels. I wore heels all the time before my surgery but I'm afraid to now. I am terrified of reinjuring myself. I would rather go through labor again than deal with that.

oh I felt the same fear. Decided that I would rather risk it than not look like me.. and so I did. My poor hubby was more scared than I was when I wore them.

I always wear heels and platforms.. lol. No fear here... I nearly died from MRSA.. the hell with it. Heels until I am in a box

Make sure you do you PT! I understand nerve damage my right/leg is starting to feel almost "normal". When I first got hurt I couldn't even have a pant leg touch the top of my foot. It was crazy hyper sensitive.
