The summer collection usually has a large stock. Typically, the website gets new stock too. In the past years, I've found every single item in CCOs, even the coveted ones like Surf U.S.A. e/s.

I'm so overwhelmed trying to catch up on this thread - it's never going to happen.

I DO finally get to see everything tomorrow. Still not sure what my enthusiasm level will be. Everything is very try before you buy in this collection, imo. This past month I've had a lot on my mind and the usual little things that pep up my day, like makeup, I'm too preoccupied to put in the mix. It doesn't help that I am still in love with my Patentpolishes, which look best with just a little mascara on the lashes and that's it.

Here's to going in and loving everything, but if not, my wallet won't be complaining, that's for sure.

Can't wait to hear what you think, Liba. I'll be on the road when this releases in stores on Monday and with a schedule that will keep me out of the stores for at least a week. For me, try before you buy isn't an option. My tentative list for my NC15 skin tone is:

Aphrodite's shell
the big face brush (worth it??)
Sea me, Hear me
Golden bronzer for the compact (waste of money?)
Mystical lipstick

I'm worried that Delphic and Seduced at Sea--although unusual and therefore fun--will be too warm. Also undecided about Goddess of the Sea cause I have so many in this color range already.

Maybe Lorelei, Legendary Lure, Fathom's Deep depending…..I just don't think I'll reach for them often enough to justify the steep price.

It's unlikely that Macys will have it online this week. They usually launch it the week of the MAC in store release.

The closest store to my work opens at 7:30 haha and I don't start work until 10 -_-

i was an art history major undergrad, and one of the big things i remember about this is that it was commissioned by the medici family, who had oranges worked into the paintings they commissioned.

Is it crazy that I think I might just skip AS and only get 3 of the lipsticks? I was just looking at my bronzer stash and I just have way too many. I do wear bronzer all year long, but the shimmer ones only come out to to play in the spring and summer. Do you ladies think AS is unique enough to bronzer world to justify adding it to my collection?

i don't think it is crazy; it is also sooo expensive and you could buy 2 lipstick for that price.

Agree this is not at all crazy--this is $27.50. That's a high price point for something you won't absolutely love.
