I just talked to MAC and they said when the collection launches it will be the normal full amount of products, regardless of what Pro purchases have occurred. So maybe that is why they shut it down. But regardless hopefully we'll have a fair chance of getting stuff

Well it sounds like the ED bronzers are going to go pretty fast, so I will be getting AS for sure. I want the compact, but I will just pick it up in store if I still need it when I take my sis.

I might get up around 6 am, then 8 and probably wait up when I get up at 8. Game plan set! Also, I will probably go to bed around 3 because I'll be too nervous to sleep

Super excited for this collection. I am hoping that it will release in the morning as I cannot stay up all night. I am thinking that I am going to get the five lipsticks, Aphroditie's Shell, Golden Bronzer, and Loreali ED shadow. This is the first MAC collection that I have been so excited about in years.

I remember archie girls collection launching around 5am. Luckily a girl and I on here decided to text whoever saw the collection go up first.She had a pro membership and was sweet enough to tell me it went on the regular site. I set an alarm and woke up every 1 or 2. Such madness for makeup is the struggle of a makeup addict.

I hope this isn't a morning launch! I'm nocturnal so the 12-5am launches I always get what I want but I remember Surf Baby went up at like 6 or 7 and I missed everything, had to wait for a restock

I was so annoyed with the Marilyn collection. I checked the site around 4 a.m and nothing. I checked it again around 6 a.m and everything was sold out.

I'm glad they've shut the high demand items down. I'm not interested in this collection nor do I begrudge Pro members their purchases, but my beef in 2012 and early 13 was that vast quantities were being sold to pros (multiple 4 per item purchases) at a discount and appearing immediately on eBay. I wrote a scathing letter to MAC about it, actually. It makes no business sense to sell most of the stock at a greatly reduced price, thereby eliminating full price sales that just turn to eBay. They really need to implement better purchase controls, IMO.

With no offence to our Pro members, I was glad to see them launch to everyone at the same time. Something needed to change; they could have accomplished the same thing by limiting purchases more effectively (maximum number of an item per account rather than order, only releasing a portion early for pros, etc). Hope everyone can get what they want. If MAC has shut down sales, I'd guess they were plowing through their stocks.

I have a related question, and I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but how are so many people Pro members? I know many people on here are MUAs and work in the beauty industry, but I have seen people say they are Pro members but have said at other times that they have jobs not in the industry. So, how are they able to get a membership? I find this confusing.

So far I'm getting  Goodess of the Sea lipstick ( Cause I love dark lippys) Sea me Hear me blush Modern Lure lipglass ( love this one) Ooh!! and I love the Pet me please name too and the color looks so pretty

Yup yup I was lucky enough to get at least one lipstick but I really wanted like 3 but oh well.
