darling, it took me one month to overcome my anxiety. I spoke little English in a US college.. I could write but was afraid of speaking.

I think it takes a bit of will power and loosening up with an EFFEM attitude..

I recently read a book about introverts, and it talked a lot about how we thrive on the internet, because there's less pressure here. For some, it's difficult to speak to others in person (sometimes its just uncomfortable!), but here we can take our time to gather our thoughts without it seeming like we're slow thinking. Really interesting read!

Necessity is the mother of invention darling.. I was 17 alone in a huge city with no relatives or friends yet.. it was awful and sink or swim.

not to say it hasn't happened again.. I haven't had an easy life. Fulfilling but not easy.
