Perfect description. That just seems insane to meIt's no fun to have commas in your rent. It's as if you are literally setting money on fire.
Gone are the days when my paycheck would just go to shoes because I still lived at home. Take me back! Oh, Take me back!!It's no fun to have commas in your rent. It's as if you are literally setting money on fire.
My 2 bed/2 bath in Alexandria (outside DC) was $2500. But it was gated. That was the most I ever spent on rent.Holy shit! My first apartment was a brand new apartment complex, 2 bedroom, 900 sq ft., $550 a month.
hope she's not a falcons fan!The pricing of homes is why my sister moved to Atlanta. She wanted more bang for her buck and still be in a "city" sort of environment.
Preach!!!However, cost of living is not a game. When they say if you can make it in NYC, you can make it anywhere, they are not playing.
I visited DC once and fell in love. Paid $22.00 for lunch. Four scallops on a bed of greens. Most over priced meal I ever consumed. Loved it.My 2 bed/2 bath in Alexandria (outside DC) was $2500. But it was gated. That was the most I ever spent on rent.
jersey (especially north) is expensive. i could find an awesome 3 bedroom for 1100 in south jersey, but 1200 will barely get you a one bedroom up hereMy boyfriend and I need to just stay in VA and just visit his Jersey family a little more. I would rather drive out of my way to go places than spend all my money on rent.
i agree , but when you live in the city all your life its hard to make a change to a suburban town or city you get more for the money you spend but then you also have to get use to driving everywhere and not walking to the corner store to get a greasy beacon egg and cheeseMy boyfriend and I need to just stay in VA and just visit his Jersey family a little more.
