MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

Okay, so I just played around with some of my Nars blushes to see if any of them could work as rosy bronzers (in an effort to avoid going to the mall for Aphrodite's Shell). I'm NC/NW 15-20 for reverence. Madly was the winner. It looked beautiful, and it had such a pretty sheen with just the right amount of pink. Luster could possibly work, but it does lean a little more orange. I think Douceur could work, but it is going to be pinker than Madly. Lovejoy is nice, but it will give a slight sunburned look, which could almost be pretty on some people, but you would definitely need a light hand if you are fair. Sex Appeal added some color but didn't give a bronzed look. None of my other Nars blushes were colors that could work for this purpose, at least not on my skin tone.

I too woke up and saw that most of what i wanted was still available aside from Mystical and went to place my order and my paypal account had been locked! By the time I got the password changed and reset and went to pay AS was sold out. I might as well wait for Nordies to put it up so I can at least use Ebates.

I wish these could be depotted. I hate little individual e/s; the only ones I have are mini-EDES. Love the product, but I wish I could put them into a palette. I'd use them so much more that way. That's why I didn't get any.

EDS cannot be depotted unless you are okay with it falling out from pan

. though i love the quality these just keep falling off the pans after some time (whether we depot or not)

Yeah, I know better than to depot them. As you've said, they tend to depot themselves anyway. My daughter's Opalesse is like that.

That's awful. At least the Nordstrom launch will be less dramatic.

That's good to know. This is my first brush with EDS so I will be gentle with it. Not travel friendly I guess!

I had to skip over 3500 posts, all because I left my phone on the bed. Did get quite a lot done at work (you ladies and gents are quite a distraction ) All the lipsticks sold out in the UK, quite a few things have sold out. I was quite shocked

just out of curiosity, what's wrong with just reading the forum and not signing in? I have done that for years with no bad intentions. I guess I just had nothing to add to the conversation or didnt feel welcome (this is a very tight knit community). I'm sure some of them ARE ebay sellers, but definitly not all. I just dont see whats wrong with "lurking", or how its so bad.

I was just adding into the joke from the Osbourne thread about the guests. I know I felt a bit scared to jump in at first when I joined but once I did I saw how welcoming and sweet everyone is. I harbor no ill will towards the guests, it's just a bit of a running joke around here about how many guests are usually around when a collection launches vs the amount of members.

haha! I too wish they were depotable. I would use them more in palettes. Individually I tend to just forget them after using few times. Moving on to the next!
