It arrived super early! I am actually really glad the other goodies sold out because I fell asleep waiting for my brush and it arrived while I was sleep as soon as I fell asleep actually lol.
Four hours later and in 100 degree weather my brush was hot to the touch even in the box!
I love the brush! It is beyond amazing! You need it!

I would take you in in a heartbeat you are so sweet! I feel for you. Some days its just really hard to deal with the crap we are dealt...we try to just keep putting one foot in front of the other one day at a time. I will agree $4 is a bit ridiculously insane. Issues!!! You be the example of strength...because I see that in you, and sometimes that means saying no to save your own sanity, A tidbit I learned a little late in my own life, but one of the best decisions I ever made. You can do it girl! Meanwhile, enjoy using that makeup on your pretty face!

that said, I am of the plodding school.. and plodding is the only way one survives sometimes. So dear @smooch3s just plod, and say NO.. hell no. It's far more important to maintain one's sanity than give in to lunacy.

So far, I love what I got. In these pics, I'm wearing Enchanted One and Delphic. I'm hoping that these pics will help some people decide on Delphic, because it's really hard to capture it in hand swatches. I used Worldly Wealth blush (which everybody needs) and a little Magnetic Appeal to highlight. I'm about an NC42 (if MAC made an NC41 that would probably be perfect) and it is subtle, but it shows up. On my hand, it looks like nothing, but on my face, it's definitely there. I'm using it as a contour/blush kinda thing. I love bronzey brown cheeks, so if you're into that, and warm toned, I'd give it a try (Thanks to Mac-Guy for the suggestion). Also, loving Water Deities and Mystical. They're great everyday colors. Don't wanna make this post any longer, but I also bought the Conceal and Correct Palette in Medium Deep. For my WOC dealing with hyper-pigmentation, please give it a try. The Burnt Coral alone is worth the $40, for me.

oo yay I'm glad i bought delphic because I am def into brown bronzy type of color on my cheeks for sublet shaping or just adding warmth to my face.
Enchanted one looks great on you. i skipped it because I thought it would just look ashy on me but now you're making me reconsider. What color are your natural lips?
and as for burnt coral don't mac sell that separately in a pot i think. I guess i should add that pot to my next order.

This is our desert/rock garden area the day it went in. There is a gate to the back yard now too. I would totally put more succulents in there too.

So I broke down and ordered Goddess of the Sea on ebay for $28.50 because I'm not going to be around for the Nordies launch probably and even if I were, my time is worth more than money. I think I have accepted that if I want MAC I'm going to have to pay higher prices to get it from unofficial sites. My other option is to just stop buying and I have already vastly reduced my MAC budget because of this. But I'm through with this stalking business.

I would have stalked for you or picked it up at launch. Ask around, some may have it now and don't like it. that is what is awesome about this beauty community
