I love it, it didn't appear ashy on me at all, and like elegant said, it gives a soft-focused effect! I'm happy I didn't skip it~
It seems sort of translucent, with a glow (small shimmer particles), and is ever so slightly peachy.

A few weeks ago I woke up and couldn't walk on my right leg. My hip felt like it was bruised but there was no external bruise and I couldn't "pop" it out anymore. I figured I slept on it wrong but it lasted for EIGHT DAYS. EIGHT DAYS I was limping around at my retail job and it was awful. Finally it randomly went away.

I understand completely, doctors are no fun. if what you're doing is working for you, then I say stick with it unless it gets too bad. The treatment for fluid buildup is not fun at all (giant needle behind the kneecap usually).
That's exactly what i was hoping to avoid!

Yeah i have fibromyalgia on top of everything else so that doesn't help any.

Wednesday i phoned my local MAC to see if they were getting this collection. Usually they have like 3 of each LE product, which sucks. The MUA told me they had it, and got more product than usual! That is certainly better for their business. All i wanted was the Beauty Powder.

The shop opens at 10 and i got there at 9:20, a littler earlier than i usually do, because i feared a crowd. Fortunately this wasn't like Marilyn or RiRi. I was the first one there. A young woman and her father arrived and then another young woman. I got my BP, then went to test True Love's Kiss lipstick. I already knew it wasn't for me, but since everyone here on Specktra looks so beautiful in it, i wanted to at least see it on my arm.

I had to wait, though, because a fourth young woman had arrived and had the lipstick. She screwed the lipstick ALL THE WAY UP, then put at least 3 coats of it on her lips, if not 4.

Sheesh! There is NO need ever to screw a lipstick all the way up! That's for movies and advertisements. All anyone needs to do is to screw it up just enough to get it on their lips. Screwing it all the way up seriously risks breaking it, especially the way that woman was manhandling it.

Anyway, when she was finally done slathering it on herself, i went to the display and screwed it back down. Then i tested it on my arm. It is a lovely red, but, seriously, i would look foolish in it. My red is Deeply Adored. Any brighter and my face disappears and all you can see is red lips floating in the void.

Natural Beauty Powder is fabulous for my NC/NW 15-20 face. It's quite light in color and feel and it's relatively matte, so it won't work much as a highlighter for people with darker complexions. I think it may be milled even more finely than my beloved Forever Marilyn. I got a BU of FM, and recently got Gareth Pugh Elude which is a little sparkly, but that's OK with me - it just doesn't go all over my whole face. So i think i don't need a BU of Natural. Still, it's somehow both pink and peach and pale, yet not too cool or too warm for my skin... it's a wonderful paradoxical color. Now i'm thinking about getting a BU...

I got a chance to try out the products I picked up yesterday - Sculpt SP and Natural BP. Sculpt is really natural and easy to use for someone that is fair. I was a little worried this may be a bit too dark because someone recommended Bone Beige to me. I might try Bone Beige in the future. I used the BP as a under eye setting powder today. Not sure if that's what it's supposed to be used for but I wanted to give it a try. I was hoping this would be similar to Accentuate shaping powder since I want to try that out. Any thoughts? This BP is so pretty and really gives a nice brightness to the face. Here are some pictures of me wearing the SP and BP. The lighting isn't the best because I took them later in the evening rather than in the morning when I prefer to take makeup pictures.

Tried to get a close up shot. This was a few hours later so the lighting isn't the greatest.

I'm in love with the stuff I bought from this collection!! I used the 109 brush I bought yesterday to apply the sculpting powder and my highlighter. It's really nice! I'm glad I picked it up.
