We have a few bengal breeders in my area, but I have a hard time with the whole idea of buying a cat and an expensive one at that, when there are so many in shelters and on the streets. I always look in the shelters for bengals hoping to find one, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I have read tons about them and they sound like the type of cat I would like to own. You very well could be right about the allergy thing and since mine aren't extreme anyway, it could work out for me.

You could always contact the breeders and ask to be considered for a retired cat from one of their programs. Honestly, until Slick was about 3-4 years old, he was a holy terror. If I decide to get another bengal after he passes, I would actually prefer an adult cat over a kitten. I do understand what you are saying about adoption, and I respect that. In my family we have purebred cats and our dogs come from shelters. Backwards from most people, I know!

I'm wondering if I should get some (maybe all!!!) of the eyeshadows. I stayed up all night just to order Lorelei because you guys kept saying how pretty it was, work sucked today.....first day at my new job & I was running on an hour sleep.....but it was for makeup so it was worth it lol. What other eyeshadow would be good, I seriously can't decide, I don't want to try to hunt one of these down & pay a ridiculous amount of money down the road.

I ordered a few items from Nordies today! Can't wait to go pick them up. I got: Lorelei e/s Sea Me, Hear Me blush Aphrodite's Shell bronzer Pet Me, Please Enchanted One Mystical Should I get the golden bronzing powder? Is it worth it just to have that lovely compact?
