MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

Ugh darn it. I'm disappointed in Legendary Lure. The greenish tint doesn't show up on me at all. It is fabulously smooth and the packaging is beautiful but the color is major yawn. It's just grey. Plus the actual shadow fell out of the package when i turned it upside down. It was totally loose in there. Wish I could've gotten Fathoms Deep. Oh well. I mean I'll use LL because I wear grey/silver all the time but I was hoping for something new.

I'm just a little skeptical about them because of the price but if you all think it's worth the "splurge" I suppose I can get just one.

Now how I'm going to narrow it down to just one is a whole different story.

I love EDES but I think these ones are twice as good as the ones from any previous collections if not better.

The only shadow I might have gotten was loreli other than that I just didn't see the use in getting the shadows if they were gonna sit in a drawer. I've got pigments and a crushed metal stack from surf baby that I barely use.

That happened to me too! My LL fell out of the case when I opened it. I'm wearing LL today with a kind of a champagne/bronze shade and it stayed green. Maybe try it with another color?

Yep, I will most likely try to get Loreli. It's my kind of color.

that happens to me always! they are always couple of days late and I never receive emails

I love that scrub! I bought one of those round face brushes from the dollar store and add it to my nightly routine 2-3 times a week when I wash my face and it has improved my skin greatly within the last 2 months. I use it with either my liquid black soap or my Ole Henriksen aloe cleanser and the marks that I had are much less noticeable, plus my foundation goes on so much better even without primer.

Ok serious question- is there any MAC product that Karen doesn't like? While some distrust T's critical reviews, I feel like Karens are all so light and sunshiny. Maybe I'm somewhere in between the two? I got frustrated trying to read between the lines of the AA blush reviews and am now more confused then I was before. Grrrrrrrr.

This is why i don't ever read reviews. I just look at swatches.

Hello! I find the older lipglasses to be too sticky but the creemsheens were ok. Hope you can see how the ladies here like the AA ones. Before the Proenza launch I bookmarked the new collections or homepage sites for MAC, Nordstrom and even Macy's and would refresh them whilst stalking. I was even checking the sites for MAC Poland, Spain, France, UK etc like a mad person. The late nights and alarms set every hour were awful lol Two collections may be my threshold, I don’t know how I can manage again. Until next time?

Hi everyone. I'm new to the site. I've been reading through the thread and you guys are hilarious. I laughed, I drooled, I gasped. Good fun. I was able to order most of the things I wanted from this collection except for fathoms deep and goddess of the sea which is my fault because I hesitated. Now skippers remorse is setting in and I think I now only want those things b/c they are sold out. I also don't have my goodies from Mac yet b/c I was in such a rush that I didn't even realize that there was a free ship code (face palm). It looks like most people got what they wanted which is nice. To those who didn't, I totally feel your pain. Also, thanks to every one who posted swatches and videos. They were all so immensely helpful!

Try calling your mac store/counter before they launch and ask about doing a phone order. The girls at my counter said I could call the day they release the collection and do a phone order and either pick it up or have it shipped

Maybe Fathoms Deep if you like those shades. But don't get any if there isn't a shade you like
