No, not nearby, but I pass by one on my way to South Carolina to visit my family, so I will look there next time.  I don't remember seeing TF when I was there last, though!  I'll have to check again.
Yea, I didn't know either so I was pleasantly surprised to see Tom Ford stuff at the CCO by me a couple of months ago! It was around $35-still pricey, but better than $50.

for example :

http://www.temptalia.com/chanel-mystere-43-les-4-ombres-eyeshadow-palette-review-photos-swatches

look what an ugly look she did with it! it looks like it has no pigment! I did not purchase it because of this review until I tried it in person. I could not believe it when I used it myself how amazing it is

I know the online release is fun and we all stalk together. But just because you aren't buying doesn't mean you can't join in lol If anyone can go in store!  If you can please do!  Do not buy something you are unsure of!
Yeah. I always feel so guilty when I buy something then hate it because I feel like I took a product someone else would have loved. I'm a sappy person haha

If I purchased everything that looks good on Karen, I would be so broke! She seriously looks good in everything she puts on her face. I think part of it is that she is such a natural beauty and there is so much warmth in her smile.
Agree! She just makes me feel happy when I visit her blog.

As much money as we spend on MAC, yes we all could afford Tom Ford, Armani, Chanel, YSL and the others.
I agree :) Personally, I rather have a smaller well edited stash with good quality products than having huge variety. I used to buy stuff only because it was pretty, or unique, but most of it never got used, so that's why I'm low-buying and reducing my stash, which also makes me enjoy the products I do buy even more.
But I understand that other people like to play with colours and different looks, so it make sense that they buy more affordable brands.

Words of wisdom right there! I think we all get caught up in the hype and I know I am guilting of buying things that have been hyped up (sometimes they work for me, sometimes they don't). I have too large of a collection at this point to be buying things that aren't unique or going to get used often. If I never bought another makeup item besides foundation, concealer and powder, I seriously doubt I could finish up everything in my collection before I leave this world.
EXACTLY!

Don't feel so guilty! You can always resell it on here if you don't like it!

Forget her pictures! No ones swatches will ever be like your own swatches!
, if anyone can go to the store and swatch before buying PLEASE do that!
You will have better luck! Do not get put off by facing the hoards of people.
Truthfully it may not be that bad!

I really wanted to go in store for this, but I'm staring a new job sometime that week, and don't know the schedule as I'm waiting for paperwork to go through. I can't take the risk, what if my first day is ON the 12th lol?!

I'm hoping the blushes will be around in stores for at least a couple of days, as those I'd wanna see in stores. The lippies will have to be bought online! crossing my fingers they will work

I'm just wondering because I like the fact that she's not afraid to say something sucks and I've found that most of the products she's rated an f , I ended up hating even if her f was for another reason. Unlike other bloggers who can't be concise that are too scared to state an opinions specially against the big guns like Ma, she actually goes there. Could it even be that the samples she is sent may not be finished versions of the products? Some would say she gets the best so idk but I doubt bias. Ijs.
That's an interesting idea, although I haven't been into MAC long enough to speak about the quality now vs before. I've liked a lot of things she hasn't been crazy about though, so who knows. Everyone has different expectations from a products.

I honestly think being Matte and pastel that these colors are harder to wear just as is. I think her reviews were not bad for the lippies.

Yes and you can tell she LOVES doing it, so it's not a job for her. I don't think that's the case with T anymore, but maybe she just likes to keep things more professional rather than fun.

Yay my list cut down dramatically! Skipping all of Sharon's side. (I rather get things from AA). I want 1 KYY, 2 DG's, and 1 cheeky bugger. I know for a fact that I would hate strip poker and riot house so they're kicked off the list. Yay for small hauls! :)

I should have never went to this Karen ladies blog. Now I want more stuff. Y'all were right about the difference in swatches!

I prefer T's set-up, I get the facts and he low-down quickly, whereas Karen I have to dig for the information about the products - if it's even there at all.
