I definitely have things I like about T and things I like about Karen. I kind of wish they could be melted into one person/blog lol. Karen is sometimes a little too kind and vague when it comes to reviews (But I love her!), and then I don't like Temptalia's lighting and overall jaded-seeming personality these days.
she should completely stop doing looks and only do skin swatches. That look temptalia did with Sharon's quad was so blah to me.
Exactly all bloggers reviews should be taken like a grain of salt!I agree, I like both and take em with a grain of salt. They're quite an asset especially when spending my hard-earned money is involved. PS Y'all just crashed Specktra lol
Kelly's lipsticks look right up my alley.Just kellys lippies for me!
For example, she gave Aphrodite's Shell a C rating, and pretty much everyone I have seen on here has said that they love it. She never really gave much of a reason for the low rating. I think she just didn't like that it was a bronzer aimed at fair skin, and yet she has said in the past that that doesn't affect her ratings.(Sorry for all the edits I'm on a crappy connection lol!
It would be awesome if they were one person lol. I think most of us prefer to see both of their reviews and swatches before we have a good idea if a product is worth having. I find both of them useful for very different reasons.I definitely have things I like about T and the

T is a one trick pony when it comes to make up application. I give her credit for bold lip swatches. Often, she does pull them off beautifully. Her lips are made for those swatches. But anything that require a different way of applying, her skills just go down the drain. This becomes apparent in any products that require a light application. She piles it on. I actually had to laugh hard when I read that the powder of the MSF was sitting on her skin. Daaaaarling, it's called B-L-E-N-D-I-N-G.for example :

look what an ugly look she did with it! it looks like it has no pigment! I did not purchase it because of this review until I tried it in person. I could not believe it when I used it myself how amazing it is
I'm still on the fence about Strip Poker and KYY. I feel like I have dupes and don't need them. Maybe I should be a good girl...Just kellys lippies for me!
They look great! People always say how eyebrows are sisters and all that jazz and not to worry about them looking exactly the same, but my eyebrows aren't even relatives! Thank goodness for tweeers and brow gel otherwise mine look like a couple of fighting sumo wrestlers!Thank you! That right one has a mind of its own and has a crazy natural arch that the other one doesn't have. :shrugs:
Lol if you have dupes and don't find them special! Then skip lolI'm still on the fence about Strip Poker and KYY. I feel like I have dupes and don't need them. Maybe I should be a good girl...
But...Lol if you have dupes and don't find them special! Then skip lol
I told you you are very wise! Always knows the perfect thing to say!T is a one trick pony when it comes to make up application. I give her credit for bold lip swatches. Daaaaarling, it's called B-L-E-N-D-I-N-G. While she usually excels at lip swatches, her skills are the worst when it comes to blush swatches (errrrgh blending????) and eye shadows. She only ever ever ever every knows one way how to use a quad. It almost looks like a stencil that she puts on her lid to apply the colors of a quad. Blending non existent. Monsy's example is just the living proof of it. A lot has to do with her knowledge, or lack thereof, of using different brushes for different products. A stiffer blush like Sunset Beach requires a firm brush, otherwise the color pay-off is limited. A powdery MSF requires a very soft brush, otherwise it will be powder dust city. Using the wrong tools will make or break a product. Funny thing is that she has all those brushes, but she seems to only use one or a few at most. Sad, but true. In the end, everybody has to make their own decisions. As always, it's best to swatch everything in person and/or find a skin twin and share information in the thread or via PM.
Then buy lol :haha:But...
