No kidding about the beads. Ew.

I would say I have oily skin. I get some dry patches in the colder months if I don't keep myself really moisturized, but through my T-zone I get a bit shiny. I have started using the Makeup Forever HD primer (the white one) and that ish is awesome. I have noticed less movement in my foundation and less shininess. I'm about 3/4 through a bottle and I will be buying it again.
I have oily skin during the summer and in the summer my foundation moves a bit....perhaps I will go get me a sample at Sephora of that stuff lol
I need major help in the summer....

I don't have this pencil, but my MAC pencils are a bit dryer than NYX for example.  Maybe a little sharpening to take off the very tip will help?  Sometimes I notice MAC pencils have a bit of residue at the tip at first, so maybe try to get that off and see it that helps?  I hope you can get it to work.  Nothing worse than a dud product that you can't use.
Yes, that is true. Hopefully that will fix hers. I like the slight dryness of MAC pencils because it means they last on me, but that's just my preference.

The three mattes is all that I'm buying the end. I will get copperthorn for the moody blooms collection . I'm pretty proud that I have be very selective with my purchases this year.

Yeah, I think it's a dud :/ I bought it quite a while ago but it was like that from the beginning.

Thanks :) I have sharpened it a few times but that didn't help unfortunately. I wish I realized earlier that it was dud so I could've returned it right away, but I thought it was just a crappy product, lol.
I don't have that much experience with lip pencils, I think I only had some drugstore ones before that which I rarely used.

That site can make you forget about a lot of things, lol.
Like colors and how to describe colors lol

Lol!

In Synch is the only MAC lip pencil I have but it doesn't work for me. I tried it and was like what the hell is this, it's so hard it doesn't even have colour payoff. I always thought that's just how MAC lip pencils are... or could it be a dud?

Every MAC lipliner I have is like that. I can barely get any color out of them and they are also super super dry, even after sharpening them. God knows why I still use them.

The Pedro Peach Beige is similar to Strip Poker, but in an AC formula.
Perhaps more wearable for those afraid of the super nude matte lip.

Ah, just looked! I like both now! I'm in the same boat as @MandyVanHook now lol...

I have two light nude/pink lip liners from MAC, and every time I used them I wanted to just throw them out the window. No pigmentation, so dry, and borderline painful to use! But I also have the l/l in lasting sensation and it couldn't be more different! creamy, glides on and great colour pay off.

Lasting sensation is definitely smooth. Soar is another really smooth one for people who want a slightly creamier, less drying liner.
