This is exactly why I hate buying online! It makes me so angry when I see reviews and they just try on everything and say they are returning pretty much everything. I have seen so many YouTube videos like that, and they don't think twice about it. That makes prices go up and eventually it might force MAC to stop being so good about returns. I've only returned one or two products to MAC in my life. I like having the option just in case, even if I pretty much never use it, but that might get taken away from us.
Beautiful love!Enchanted One
It shows how important it is to try be there first and wait in line..Glad everything went smoothly for you, enjoy your haulWell I must admit, I went a bit crazy today and bought way more than anticipated--LOL that is an understatement-- but I am VERY happy I did!
Although I was the first in the door, my Mac store quite quickly became a zoo and I was so thankful to have been there at opening--and that the girls were kind enough to let me try things on quickly and got a basket all ready with my goodies. They are so great!
I can hardly keep up with the thread because it is moving so fast, but I hope that everyone got what they wanted!
Not bitchy at all Syd,Ok, I know this is OT, but I just rant for 2 seconds. I know I'm about to seem bitchy and I don't really care.
I love T's blog. I think even though her reviews are often silly and biased, she in consistent in the fact that she swatches every product from every collection in the same lighting. That being said..... I am so damn tired of looking at the same makeup "look" on her. It doesn't matter what collection or what colors, she always applies them in the same way. slightly darker crease, softer color in the middle of her lid and usually a pop of color under the eye. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love her blog as well, I've been reading it for years. I kinda agree with you though... When's the last time you saw her do a look with some serious smoke or cat eye/winged liner, etc? Or like... Maybe just put the pop of color on the top for a change. Throw me a bone here! LmaoOk, I know this is OT, but I just rant for 2 seconds. I know I'm about to seem bitchy and I don't really care. AS is so pretty!I managed to stop by Macy's today around noon and check out the rest of the collection. I liked all of the lipsticks, but I decided to skip them because I have similar colors in my stash already. However, I did have to grab up that compact to go with my AS, so now I have that and Golden. I swatched AS and Golden so you ladies and gents can see the difference. Golden took about two swipes to build up, but there isn't a huge difference between the two. I think AS is just a bit more rosy, but I really like them both.
From top to bottom: Aphrodite's Shell and Golden. Left to right: Shade and Sunlight
What makes it worse is that she had the opportunity to swatch stuff but didn't and the fact that if she had looked she would have found swatches on darker women like meThis is exactly why I hate buying online!
People buy so much and HOPE it works for them.
Then they return and it goes up for everyone else.
I prefer to swatch in store! Make my own judgements and buy!
I Love taking my time in the store...This is exactly why I hate buying online!

I would have bought it anyways too lolThe color is the best part. I could care less about the water droplets.. i would still buy something without it lol
I might be having *ahem* a PMS moment but I saw that Pedro Lourenco look and I wanted to punch her in the eye.Not bitchy at all Syd,
She does do that all the time though.
I love those movies, so does my Son. We really love Frozen.. Olaf is my favvvOkay, this is super off topic, but who likes movies like Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Frozen, How to Train Your Dragon, etc. Am I the only one?
Right!?!?! For real!! Maybe she needs to look at some other people blogs to get some more ideas on application.I love her blog as well, I've been reading it for years. Nope! You are definitely not alone! Me and hubs love them! Monsters Inc. 2 (Monsters University or whatever it is called) totally cracks me up!Okay, this is super off topic, but who likes movies like Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Frozen, How to Train Your Dragon, etc. Am I the only one?
That's always the best thing to do. Unfortunately my nearest counter is nearly an hour away, and with work, I just can't make that work. It did work in my favor working out of town today, though! But anyway, when I buy online, I always do an obsessive amount of research first. LolThis is exactly why I hate buying online! People buy so much and HOPE it works for them.
