MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

When you order for your personal use there's no problem. The thing is the government is requiring some health and quality control tests for companies that sell makeup and many other products in general. For a couple of months there was a shortage of certain products but now it seems to be getting back to normal. Recently I've seen more Maybelline, Loreal etc products and new companies like E.L.F and Essence. So its not really so dramatic now but it was for a couple of months!

health and quality controls? lol.. that's funny. there is still dengue fever and other diseases. There is also a quota for how much cosmetics you can personally bring in each year.. and that;s just ridiculous. they assume it's being sold.. lol. Maybelline and L'oreal products, yes, but some not all are the lines which were sold in the states a few years back.

I think it's dramatic because they are trying to bring in products made in Mexico and Colombia/ Peru or worse made in the country -- and then quality, colour and all other controls fly out the windows.. lol.

The packaging of this collection is beautiful and if not, one of the best special packaging MAC has released. I bought more than usual with this collection and I am satisfied with the ones I hauled (Enchanted One lipstick, Sea Me, Hear Me blush, Seduced at Sea blush, Delphic bronzer, Water Deities lipglass and Peachstock lipglass). The only one I was not happy about was Aphrodite's Shell bronzer. The bronzer had no pigmentation on me (NC 30-35) and I had to scrub my brush hard in order to pick-up the product to get pigmentation. It was returned right away.

Who owns Pet Me, Please? I kept playing with it at The Grove store, but couldn't get myself to buy it since I do not wear frost.

I adore AS but I am NC/NW 15-20. I can't imagine getting too much use out of it if I were much darker, though. I have PMP and I love it. It's not super frosty and it just makes the lips look full and pretty. It also feels pretty good on the lips for a frost.

I love AS but it is truly the only bronzer that has worked effortlessly on my pale self. I also love PMP. I have tried it over Hgl from Playland and it was love. I also wore it alone this morning, then added it just in the middle of Siren Song. I love it and I love frost.

I have PMP and tried it. So I like it. It is nothing like the old frosts! It just gives a metallic sheen over glitter bomb like in the past. I think it is worth getting it!

I went to a MAC store today and scored Goddess of the Sea lipstick and Modern Lure lipglass. Yay!!!

Welcome! And colors like enchanted one usually show up orangey brown on most people!
