Haha, yeah, I love handlebar mustaches! Me, too.  I love things that are old fashioned/retro.  

My dad and both grandpas had handle bar mustaches!

It will be beautiful on its own, too! I think Temptalia actually said she preferred these two glosses on their own.

I tried them both by themselves and also over lipstick. They are dense enough with shimmer that they definitely cover up the color of the lipstick underneath. I thought the gold was still very nifty applied just in a patch on the lower lip and then smooshed a bit together. The silver in particular looks so gorgeous over a natural lip, I don't think it really improves anything to wear it on top of lipstick. I do feel like both of them will look fantastic over a lip pencil, rather than lipstick, because you will get a hint of color from the pencil, but still will maximize the unique texture of the gloss without over complicating it with lipstick texture. I already have plans for the fall to wear the gold one over Stone and the silver one over Hip & Happy or Heroine pencil.

My dad had his for years still I was 21. Everyone hated it! He'd curl it up and when he'd laugh he'd hold the end of it and twist it lol. My grandpa's both died when I was younger but I have pictures and memories of their mustaches. In the end they shaved it!

Haha, I love picturing that! He sounds like a trip. Sorry you lost your grandfathers so soon! I never had any. I have vague memories of one of my grandmothers, but she died when I was young. My parents were older when they had me so that's part of the reason I lost both of them in my mid-late twenties.

I am super lucky! I've always loved my hair just the way it is, never colored it, never straightened it.
If it goes all grey, I guess I'll go lavender at last and just let it be, but I've got time!

I straighten everything. Even my puppy has its own flat iron.

Haha, I love picturing that!  He sounds like a trip.  Sorry you lost your grandfathers so soon!  I never had any.  I have vague memories of one of my grandmothers, but she died when I was young.  My parents were older when they had me so that's part of the reason I lost both of them in my mid-late twenties.

Aww. I was hoping to have children while I'm still young to avoid that happening to my kids, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen, if it happens at all. My mom was 39 when I was born and my dad was almost 47.
