Yes yes. It looks good in indoor artificial light at night (wore it to a formal) but in the outside light it's VERY shimmery! Not the natural summer glowy look I was going for, sadly.

I still have WOG from the very first release and it's only flattened out but there's still a ton of product there.

It also works well for editorial-esque photo shoots IF place strategically.

WOG is beautiful, but it's a certain kind of look - very metallic and shimmery, almost wet-look. It's also a light champagne color, which is very noticeable even on light skin (mine's NC15 and it's obvious), so it's going to be even more dramatic on darker skin. The anti-enabler in me feels like she has to say something.

Agreed, Liba. I really only use it for nights out. Don't get me wrong, it's very pretty, but too much, for me, for any everyday highlight. I use Magnetic Appeal a lot more.

For an everyday highlight, Fairly Precious is probably my favorite EDSF. MA is so gorgeous too. I do better more of the year with WoG than Superb, though, from that first batch.

Was the colour story for the Norsdtrom / Look in a Box sets posted anywhere? I just saw it on a blog that usually just steals info, so I'm thinking the original source must be somewhere else, lol.

Agreed. After getting Luminous Light from HG, any highlighters have a lot to live up to.

So for summer all we have so far, (or left) is the Osborne collection, the Moody Blooms, and the Simpsons...

I hate to say it but that's a little disappointing. I'm getting a few bits from the Osborne and probably Moody Blooms, but I was really hoping for something amazing. I've only really started being addicted to MAC for about a year, around the time Temperature Rising came out.. and I love that collection. I was hoping for something like that for the summer. Gorgeous blushes and different packaging.

Hopefully MAC will wow us with fall!!

Temperature Rising was an excellent collection to get started with Mac. I don't mind not having much exciting coming. I am eager to pull out the Temperature Rising Products. The blushes and quads worked well all year but I think the glosses screamed summer.

So save your money for fall. The fall collections are usually nice and large.

Simpsons is a fall collection :) We still have the July collections (the nail stuff and the Look in a Box sets), then there should the next update and we'll hopefully find out about the fall stuff.

I'm bored with MAC at the moment, new info can't come soon enough. I want the Velvetease and the Casual Colours already, as well as Breaking Ground CCB and hopefully 1-2 nice new blushes.

The Look in a Box sets info is posted on Chicprofile btw.

I loved Temperature Rising... the Ripe for Love blush... seriously, one of my top five favorites of all time.
I can't wait to hear about the fall collections - I should use this time to rediscover some goodies in my collection.

Thanks guys :D !!

I'm excited about frost matte lipsticks. I've never been a fan of matte lipstick - although in the past year+ i've gotten quite a few.

But in the late 1990s i found my HG red... which isn't really red... and it was a frosted matte.
Revlon Velvet Touch Lipstick Moonlit Wine - semi-matte plum red with gold shimmer

I think it worked on me because the base was a cool -- dark blue-red -- and the frost/shimmer was warm. True warm reds look terrible on me.
It was discontinued in the early 2000s and i wish i had a BU. I've never found anything similar.

I can only hope that MAC will be making a similar color.

I'm ready for some new finishes and colors. I need more umf in my collection of lippies, blush, shadows, etc. Can't wait to find out more about these frost matte lippies. That Revlon lippie sounds devine lilinah. I wouldn't mind a similar shade with these new lippies.

The Look In A Box sets seem kinda boring, I doubt I'll get any of them unless I see some great swatches.

The beige one sounds nice to me. I'd only get it if all the shades are great quality, though. I was lucky to get one of the Illustrated ones last year super cheap and I like it a lot, but I wouldn't have bought it for full prize.

For the life of me I can't remember if it was WOG or Superb I didn't like. I know I got rid on one. but for some reason, I can't find that one or Superb. But I believe it was WOG b/c it was a whitish highlight on me. and I prefer Golden or Peach highlights.

The Look in a Box will likely be a skip for me. I hate makeup that comes in sets where, if I like just one part of the set, I have to buy the WHOLE thing to get it. Meh.

I'm interested in all about coral and all about nude boxes. Face kits are a skip!
