When the brushes sell out, you know people are reaching. I collect them and always buy them, but I'm still shocked. If I had to actually use them I'd probably skip..

The people posting on FB, what do you expect,  for MAC to feel bad for your sob story or threat to not shop with them again and send you the ish anyway? Just wondering.

I really would like to know what Mac does for them in the end. They were "fixing" problems voiced on Facebook here and there when riri summer came out.

I checked the site early this morning and nothing up, of course when I get to work and check it's up and the 3 things I wanted to order are sold out. Why is MAC limiting there sales so much with such small quantities of products lately? I don't mean this as a MAC slam just don't understand the business behind it - you'd think they'd want the sales!

I get what you're saying but I think sometimes we don't remember just how large mac's customer base is. Were talking hundreds of thousands of orders if not more. True they could make more but then when they keep increasing the prices because all their products are ending up at cco's we get mad about it. Either way somebody loses. So whaddya do?

Of course I realize the millions of sales however if items consistently sell out nearly immediately at launch they're not making enough. I don't expect MAC to make more to make me happy as I said didn't mean it as a slam of the company however I'm sure they're aware of items that will be super popular long before production and wonder if they intentionally make short quantities to add to the hype. I've never complained about finding something at a CCO - I'm sure MAC is still making money even if a few strays wind up there. One of the differences its seems to me is the pro-discount. When collections aren't including that discount things don't sell out immediately however for these two launches pro discount is applied, and viola items sold out. Again I wasn't trying to start a debate about production, just making an observation about supply. Honestly if I don't get items I wanted, take it as a sign didn't need them anyway so NOT COMPLAINING about MAC, just a thought.

Glad you ladies got what you wanted! I stayed up all night, but not to stalk….. to celebrate my 21st birthday!! I'll catch the lippies on Nordies since I got a big note from all the money I spent on AA and using my triple points. WOOO!
For those that missed out on some stuff…. STOP FREAKING OUT!!! You have like 20 more chances to get what you want. I know it's an exciting and anxious time but just because you're not able to get what you want, don't go pointing fingers or jumping to conclusions. It's an LE collection that everyone wants- stuff is gonna go quick. This is nothing new and won't ever change with releases.
