That's unfortunate. When my immediate grandmother passed, my distant family did the same! Now my great grandma has a will with my mom in charge and me second. As sad as it sounds, I'd whoop any extended families ass before letting them in her house. So shitty.Oh I do my mother gets to keep it all. My grandmother has a ton of antiques and fancy french things. So much pretty jewelry that I coyld find were only a few items...my cousins stole the restHaha I love brows
My butch face is to avoid wrinkles!!! Lol I honestly laughed my ass off catching up on this thread. No shade But if you were up all night BUT slept a few hours, isn't that not up all night? For AA I literally was up every 30 min until 6am!

Zoot suiters the style was beautiful. My tio was part of the infamous sleepy lagoon trails.Ooh that's the zoot suit vatos...yaaahhhh don't get me started on the chola bangs. I had chola brows for years! I was always happy sad and confused at the same time until I learned better. Yonce and rir would both get mopped up by real cholitas...puhhhlease lol This was me :

Omg!! That is too funny brows on point thou. I did the over plucking on my brows back in the day it was horrible. It's funny my Grandmother use to shave hers off and paint them on with the maybeline pencil the red one. As kids we use to try to catch her with no brows.. But we never caught her slipping. She always had those suckers on point toOoh that's the zoot suit vatos...yaaahhhh don't get me started on the chola bangs. I had chola brows for years! Yo lol for my entire life I didn't know my grandma had straight hair and no brows.....she always had curly hair and brows always lol....I only found out a month before she passed when she told me lol

It's something my family never brings up to them its embarrassing. My aunt mary had one of theirs children lol only because her brother was apart of it and it was his friend who was also apart of it. It sounds crazy I know but I have all the documents and letters he wrote and pictures.

LOL! I am totally with you! Cannot keep my eyes open and it's only 8:47pm! It didn't help that we were visiting my parents this weekend and the koyotes kept us awake Saturday night, so I was running on very little sleep to begin with when the stalking party began----but it's all worth it right?!?! Right! Think I will hit the hay shortly so that I'm not a walking zombie again tomorrow! Isn't it funny how families were ashamed by the lifestyle. I personally think it was a beautiful era but I know it was frowned upon by many people back then. The zoot suiters had a tough life back then to be accepted some viewed them as trouble makers.

I love watching the ladies who still wear the drawn in brow and bight lipstick. I'd personally rather have the wooly mammoth now than go back to super thin. I can't....speaking of which, I love Sharon's brows in their for this collection. She looks great overall IMO. I'm wowed. Yes it's airbrushed but it's done well.
