Yay!!!

Yeeeah!!! I did too, I ended up purchasing many more things from this collection than I originally anticipated. I am so excited for my goodies to arrive! ompom:

yay!!!! I considered the MSFs but held back, hopefully I can see more swatches.

I'm glad most got to order what they wanted. It was so worth the no sleep! I also considered the MSF but I changed my mind.

Isn't it funny how families were ashamed by the lifestyle. I personally think it was a beautiful era but I know it was frowned upon by many people back then. The zoot suiters had a tough life back then to be accepted some viewed them as trouble makers.

Yup and that's why no one spoke of it. They didn't want their families associated with being trouble makers back then. It was a terrible time. My mom talks often of her uncle and how after he came out of prison and hid away he came back and was an amazing uncle and brother. He tried to make up for lost time.

Finally got one of my shipping confirmations, although it's the one I bought last...I bought KYY and RH first and then went back for DG which is what was shipped. Hopefully the other two will be soon as well. Didn't get overnight but thank god mac's shipping is pretty fast.

I got my confirmations for both of my packages, so hopefully one (or both!) show up tomorrow. I should be asleep, but before I go I have to admit that I ordered all my stuff hiding under the comforter so that hubs didn't see me furiously trying to add things to my cart on my phone. Not my proudest moment.

Does anyone think a smokey eye with RH would be too much or would it be best to down play the eyes and have the lips as the pop? I can't really remember how it swatches so I'll have to look around for them but yeah it's the only one I'll be getting .Any ideas how you would wear it

:sigh: I can't believe I'm saying this, but I decided to skip this collection. All the packing and moving made me realize how much makeup I actually have. I may have to join #teamlowbuy soon. Sorry, #teambuyallthethings! I was mainly interested in KYY, but I have 3 tubes of CYY (before it became permanent), so I think I'm good. :fluffy:

I think a smokey eye would look great with RH. I tend to like smokey eyes with oranges, but a nude would certainly look good as well.

I wear similar shades to RH with a fairly simply eye--polished jet liner, mascara, bronzer. I find that green tones on the eyes look really nice with a peachy/apricot lip. HTH!
