Has anyone used the Light Boosting Primer? I popped by the Dior counter in Bloomingdale's after seeing Maleficent to ask about Amber Diamond. I know it's discontinued, but it never hurts to ask in case there's one lurking in a drawer somewhere.

Anyway, the SA wanted me to try this primer, saying it was a suitable highlighter. I already had a full face of makeup on, so I wanted to swatch it on my hand. She insisted that it was fine to place over my makeup and proceeded to apply it on my cheekbone and right under my eye. I wasn't happy about that because it ended ruining the makeup under my eye concealer/powder so I had to race to MAC and fix it. Needless to say I wasn't happy.

I wouldn't mind giving this product another shot, but under my foundation or over it, but not when I've already set everything.

I suppose you're referring to the 'Glow Maximizer.' I haven't tried it---if I glow anymore than I already do I'd be a halogen

JK'ing. I have not tried the LBP only because I try to reduce the amount of product that I wear during the summer months and I suffer from product overload,
on a regular basis.

Amber Diamond is lovely. I'll keep my eyes & ears open for one. EL has a new powder gelee highlighter (my all time favorite formula) out and I've already ordered it.
It's called Crystal Baby at the moment exclusive to Nordstrom.

I ordered Crystal Baby w/o seeing it IRL. I'm hoping it's not as pink as tease. It appeared peach in the photos but monitors ar enot reliable that way. I was sold on the gelee formula, so I ordered it anyway. Since you prefer gold-toned highlighters were you able to get Dior's Gold Shimmer powder? I'll make a call about the Amber Diamond. I have a tester in Rose Diamond & I dropped it---and yes it crumbled. I tried pressing it into an old MAC compact---so far so good. Like you, I just prefer things in their original packaging.

I missed out on tease! I loved all the swatches I've seen on it I dint even know about crystal baby until I saw your post. I hope I can find a good gwp with it lol. I can't seem to find much swatches for it though. Did it just came out?

I would recommand Shiseido trio es in " Bouquet " just lovely, off topic it has nothing to do with a Dior quint but it is very pretty and the texture is awesome

Yes Jo---it's very new and didn't seem to broadly advertised. I found no swatches and purchased merely based on pics on Nordies' web site. I did find this after I ordered

Starlight, maybe the warmer temps are causing this---if so, good that it's only temporary.

The texture is very smooth and silky, very easy to play with. Very pigmented. Using a primer would help I think. They are quite long wearing but on oily eyelids, well I don't know ?

it hasn't been that hot yet but could be. I usually wear eye primer but I like knowing a product I have doesn't need it. My MAC's are creasing like crazy. the new EDES. maybe it's just that formula on me? I wore Dior Rose Bellerine palette today. no primer, no creasing yet. it's been 6 hours. MAC EDES is lasting about 4 :/

I just can't get it to wear more then an hour. it's worse then the Chanel RCS wear time but still worth it for the color. the highlighter is gorgeous!!!

i love all these quads too. i think the Tom Ford is my favorite of the bunch because it has one color not purple to offset some looks for me. I like when there is at least 1 color different from the rest. don't know why... i'm nervous to venture into TF though. I may not return HAHA please post pics of the EL CB!! and thank you for the suggestions!! I bought Shiseido beach grass

Crystal Baby on the left & Tease on the right. Crystal Baby does not look pink on my high points. I looks crystal/white
