Ok, today I've received my babies.. but gold mirror is odd.. In my opinion is a strange one.. it doesn't look like the gold mirror I've seen online AT ALL! It's like a mixture of mirror and gold mirror O__o and I don't really love it U.U

anyway I'm in love with the quad *___* great quality!!

I said the same thing. Photos don't capture the opacity of the pearl so it looks almost like a dazzleglass. Some say it's a great top coat but to me, it's too gray and opaque. I like gold mirror better but it's very basic. Used sparingly I see that they work layered, but when I saw them I was like womp womp....:(

The glosses are mislabeled. Those who ordered M received GM and vice versa. Thus, most likely, you are holding Mirror in your hand (with a Gold Mirror sticker on the bottom).

I read your review of the blush. So sorry to hear that you have trouble with it. It is definitely on the stiffer side, thus make sure to use a firm brush. Personally, I prefer the 169. It's perfect when you need firmer bristles to pick up product. Softer brushes, likes the 168 or paddle versions like the 159 gave me sub ideal results. But the 169 works like a charm. I don't think this is a texture problem, rather than not-the-right-tool issue (which can be easily fixed).

I also suggest that you try to clean the surface with BeautySoClean. This blush needs a dead clean brush. Any residue (powder, oils from your skin, etc.) will create a surface layer that will make it very hard to use this product as it is intended to do. BeautySoClean (or any similar products) should help to get rid of the surface layer. Hopefully you can enjoy this blush. IMO, it is a must-have if you love neutral looks. Enjoy!

Oh, thanks so much for this hint. I appreciate it very much. :bouquet: I have noticed some particles sticking on the blush surface. I tried to scratch it with my nails and with a very stiff brush (the stiffest I have at least). It does apply on the cheeks with a stiff brush, if you had seen the review, you can see that it shows nicely and I really like how two shades combine or can be used to contour and blush. I was just confused with the swatches around here in Specktra with really a lot of powder seen on the skin, mine can not be swatched like this so I think the quality differs from product to product. Then I read Temptalia and thought mine would also be like the others if I scratch it enough, lol. But it didn't work. Anyway I won't scratch it anymore and just use a stiff brush as you suggested. As for Mac online, they called me back and said they will refund but that it is an exception. Considering I had to place a second order to Ludwigbeck with some shipping cost to get the right gloss, I think it is fine. I am loving Pedro Lourenco goodies and surprisingly my favorite is Roxo!

Update on my situation- I called MAC CS and got a lovely and knowledgeable person for a change. She said the last CS person I spoke with put in the wrong product #, so that's why I ended up with two Mirror l/g and no Gold. She said they are overnighting an actual Gold Mirror to me and I will have it by Friday, yay! This is good news because my Macy's says they don't know if they're getting the collection, so it's doubtful I'd be able to get GM at the counter. Oh! And I get to keep both Mirrors. So I got 3 for the price of one LMAO

Anyone going to the in store release tomorrow? Should I expect it to be crazy? I was the only one at the AA release because they released it a day early. I'm just trying to figure out how early I should get there. I don't think this collection had much hype around it, so I'm hoping it won't be too nuts. I just want Roxo!

I've decided to cave in an pick up Mirror in store tomorrow, Roxo is still a big question mark though (I have a crap load of lipsticks in that family)

Omgoodness I'm so pissed at MAC!! I ordered mirror and like everyone else received gold mirror. I called on Friday when I receive it they told me they would be sending it today with the correct product. I just got an email saying that there was something wrong with my order so I called them, I am now being told I should have never been promised to get a new shipment and it's strange I was told that I would and that they were out of stock. The order has been cancelled so now I get to wait until Monday to see what the supervisor has to say... SERIOUSLY!

That's messed up. Smh

Was playing around with Mirror (the one I initially didn't want but ended up with for free lol) on top of Melt's Bane

That looks amazing! I don't own any black lipsticks, but I just got Smoked Purple which is now the darkest lipstick I own. I'm going to have to try Mirror over it! This looks stunning. It's such a beautiful and modern take on a black lipstick. Really adds a softness to it.

I was told to keep the wrong one because it wasn't my fault that MAC made a mistake. :)
