I tried it without makeup on so I know for a fact that foundation makes things look better haha. I would like opinions tho, I will wax my upper lip tonight #Mexicanproblems

I put it on yesterday without exfoliating or prepping my lips. I'm one of those girls that is blessed with consistently chapped lips no matter what I do, so that didn't help.

I saw a pic on instagram of a lady who said if you wear a bit of a balm underneath it goes on much smoother. I haven't tried it, and I'm sure it would affect the wear and finish, but with as matte as the lippie is it might work as a solution. It was a strange consistency because it was creamy but chalky. I think with a liner it would give it something to grab onto and hopefully keep it from going patchy.

Also, like I said I didn't prep so I'm sure a prep and prime lip or the bite lip primer would help too.

I just tried Peaches & Cream on and I am in love! I think when the collection releases on nordies website I'll be picking up a backup! and y'all's beautiful pictures have influenced me to go ahead and get Cranberry, In Synch, and DG!!

Moreover, the brief moment I have to address your experience -cannot even begin to do it justice. I actually have no words.
I too, am at the age where when the phone rings- our thoughts race less quickly to those of home invasion, or of our children being hurt-{ since we still see youth as a temperate invincibility}....but our hearts inevitably skip a beat, if not more, until we pick up and are reassured that it is not our parents in distress.
I am surrounded by mountains and ocean- and as I gaze outwards towards the horizon I am stilled by what you must be going through. I cannot begin to imagine, nor presume to know how profoundly you must be feeling your Mum's presence.

I have never really commented on a post with this significance without the fear of sounding trite or impersonal. This is a strange, yet remarkably intriguing world we live in - where palpably, very real, sustaining and solid "Forum friendships" are made -despite the anonymity upon which they are forged.
I consider you to be the first and primary individual upon whose personality, warmth, generosity and kick-a*s kindred spirit first attracted me to becomming a vocal, contributive participant at Specktra.
