I just went through the same thing with them several hours ago. They tried that same crap with me. Due to my lack of barely any sleep, I was less than pleasant. I first got that same old song and dance of "we don't price match" nonsense. That's when I went off on the guy and demanded to speak with a manager. I told him that was a load of #$%*, and that this was not acceptable to me at all. He seemed to have a hard time understanding the point that the person that put up the price of the blushes made a mistake ... a big fat mistake! I said that all their other prices were fine, but not this one. Then he tried offering me a gift card that did not even cover the amount of their mistake. I told him I wanted a chargeback on my credit card immediately. After not making too much headway in the conversatoin, I demanded to speak to someone in management. I had to wait quite a while, but it worked out in the long run. First the manager tried to give me the same song and dance (no price matching; that's the price listed on the site, blah, blah, blah). I pointed out that it was their mistake; that priceponts in the cosmetic industry are regulated. You can't just go around all willy nilly and set any price you want for the item. It's regulated!!! I told her I work in the cosmetic industry and I know better. I said that you would never find a Diorshow mascara for one price at Nordstrom, another price at Macy's and yet another price at Sephora. It ain't gonna happen. She listened to what I had to say and fixed it promptly for me. Call back and demand to speak to a manager. What they are doing is wrong. As a matter of fact, they can probably get in some hot water for doing this. They need to admit their fault, give you back the amount they ovrecharged you, and fix their incorrect price on their website! Good luck. Don't let them steamroll you!
