I finally decided to catch up on sleep after these last few nights and when I wake up, I finally received my Nordies shipping confirmation!

My boyfriend agreed to go to a counter for me Thursday if it never shipped bc I have work and now I'm hoping he's still up for it. Mama needs backups

I got all four Kelly lipsticks and Peaches & Cream. I liked Cheeky Bugger, but I would have had to skip one of the lipsticks to get it. Strip Poker was the big surprise for me, so I'm glad I got to try it on first. I find it difficult to find nude lipsticks which work on me (Blankety makes me look like a zombie, although I love the name), but this was nice. The assistant suggested that I try it on with Subculture, which definitely helped. Does anyone have any opinions on how close Strip Poker is to Myth? I've always avoided Myth in the belief that if sheer nudes made me look dead, opaque nudes would be worse, but now I'm wondering.

I'm definitely going to get In Synch to go with Riot House, but I'll get it in the normal packaging.

sooo I used jolly good as a blush today and loved it. happy bc I was considering putting it on the CB or something bc I didn't like it. I mixed the colors and placed it on my cheeks then took some of the pink portion and placed it only on the apples. Really gave a nice subtle 'glow'.

Now Nordstroms cs says she doesn't know why it hasn't shipped but not to worry because it doesn't say my order is cancelled. This answer doesn't fill me with confidence but I'm going to just forget about it and not be a crazy type A mac-a-holic. I guess when you give up a night of sleep it makes you overly psychotic to get your goodies. Excited for everyone getting their things today or soon!! :rasta:

I am using bronzer, (AS) so I think that's why it does not look good. Today I let the natural face and maybe change.

I checked by the hour for over a week and the one day I had a super early shift at work they release =( I feel a little sick tbh.. It's put me off Mac collections for life I think.  I'm so majorly disappointed.

I wasn't very clear there; I screwed up the grammar, so totally my fault. I was thinking about the comparison between Strip Poker and Myth. I can completely see that the grey tones in Blankety look gorgeous on some people, but I have a lot of grey-blue in my natural lip colour. Usually, it's hidden by the pink, but when sheer nudes mute that, it can make me look like I have straight-up grey-blue lips, and it's not a great look. Not just corpse lips, but mortuary lips.

I think the Nordies orders that were cancelled got cancelled pretty much immediately. If they haven't sent you an email saying your order was cancelled by now, then you're safe.....for those fretting. For the order of mine that got cancelled, I got the cancellation email about 3 minutes ager the confirmation email.

Nordstrom's sent my tracking number.. But this was an order I made at 4am (cst) on the morning it was released -- right when it was released.
