MAC Sharon and Kelly Osbourne Collection (June 5, 2014)

I was also trying to get a set for my best friend, but they had none left. I asked if there was a purchase limit and she said there's no limit because we got almost nothing! I also picked up Jolly Good. The women behind me in the line were pretty upset I got all the lipsticks, but it isn't my fault they only got 1 of each. When I left, honestly not even 5 minutes later, the line jumped from 5-6 of us to over 20. It is in an office building and people were coming downstairs from their work!

THEN, I raced over to the free standing MAC store about two blocks away and was 5th in line, and waited about 45 minutes. As soon as the door opened, the girls last in line (like 30 back!) stormed past us and ran up to the register! Needless to say we all (politely) flipped out, and the girls there refused to help them until the people they saw in front of the line were helped. I was able to get another set of lipsticks for my friend and went on my merry way. I must've gotten super lucky!! I didn't get BUs of anything but I think I will be fine - so many girls wanted them that I felt guilty to get many of the same color. I was just shocked how rude the girls in the back of the line had been - literally physically knocking us out of the way!

Sorry for this huge post! I hope everyone got what they wanted most! My mall has 3 MACs, 1 freestanding and two counters (Idk why, it's not a HUGE mall...) so I may see tonight before my movie if they have any of the other things I liked but were not must-haves left.

One of each I find that to be ridiculous! They knew this was huge collection and should have properly stocked the stores...Riri release all over again...SMH!

Glad you were able to snag your goodies and they did not tolerate cutting!

I'm feeling like MAC is overdoing these collections.

I know limited stock ups the frenzy and sales, and collections tend to keep interest high.

But with all the errors, limited stock, etc. I think they need to stop trying to do things that they simply cannot do. Do a few collections. Do them well. Have enough stock to fill the orders.

I completely agree with you. And sales would not have been a problem, definitely where the lipsticks and blushes were concerned, and they had to know that. It should be fun to buy makeup! In the end so many people got screwed over (shipping errors, not getting an item, ect) and it just makes people disgruntled :(

Yes! She opened the drawer in front of me and it was one of those tiny desk drawer types...it was maybe 1/2, 1/3rd full! There was almost nothing and people had huge lists. She said she was shocked they got so little. MAC freestanding had a closetfull..I saw accidentally last week...they were running low by the time it started to settle down! The phones were ringing off the hook and the MUAs kept repeating "no we can't hold anything for you and not to be mean but it will sell out before lunchtime...it was insane!!

Yeah they were pretty nice about it but it was hectic. The girls who cut didn't even acknowledge us so we reformed our original line to the 2nd cash register and the one girl seemed to speed us up and the other seemed to go slower! But the other girl had a lot of people who just were indecisive and wanted to swatch, etc...eventually us first 10 at the front got in and out before the others. I usually order online so I was new to this line! Haha!
