I already have an idea of the formula but the actual colour is what I want to see. The plum looks nice and close to the promo pic image.

Yes I know :) It looks like a deep plum.

Here is Suspense ( 2013 ), current formula. It is quite pigmented ( just to show you )

He was an architect? It's so funny to see where the people on the cosmetics/perfumery industry come from! Tom Pecheaux is a former confectioner.

You love Ellena too? I adore him. My fave is L'Eau d'Hiver. Did you read Chandler Burr's book on him? Highly recommended!

It's quite pigmented compared to other RCS I think. The Avant-Première collection was really to die for !

I swatched many RCS but lol it was some days ago, I swatched 8 of them, pigmentation is better than it used to be but some ladies here prefer the previous version ( less pigmented and very sheer ), the Fall ones are sheer but pigmented too. Not as much as a RC though.

I think the amount of pigment in RCS depends on whether it is "Hydrating Sheer Lipshine" or "Hydrating Colour Lipshine" formulation. I noticed that the ones I have in Colour formula (79 Saga, 80 Suspense, 88 Esprit, 92 Emotion) are much more pigmented than the Sheer ones (74 Parfait, 447 En Vogue, 467 Pygmalion). On Chanel website, all RCSs are listed as Sheer, but looking at Karen's pic, I can see that 96 Aura belongs to Colour family, i.e. more pigmented, while 93 Intime is Sheer.

Yes he studied maths and architecture, and Ellena is GOD ! I haven't read this book but I will try and find it, thank you Anneri. L'Eau d'Hiver

but my fav are Bois Farine and Terre. I love Jour too, and Ambre Narguilé. Discontinued l'Eau du Navigateur too. I love Frédéric Malle, sadly enough we don't have the brand here ( but we can order online ).

Hi Ladies! I went to Saks this morning for an appointment with a makeup artist and picked up few things from this collection. The artist did a toned down version of the cover look with the pink, purple and yellow eye. It was toned down but still WOW for day! lol. I ended up buying the the yellow gold (Admiration) & burgundy (Hesitation) ,<----gorgeous! I also picked up Coco Shine in Confident and a Glossimer in Songe. I should have taken a picture but I had to wash my face off in a hurry when I came home since I'm not used to wearing so many creams, base, concealer and powder. I also purchased the Les Beiges Fluid in No30...very nice but I passed on the striped powder. I have hit pan on Les Beiges in #40 that I use as a bronzer and am trying to stay laser focused on finishing it up before I buy anything new.

I decided to pass on the nail polishes for today. I had originally thought I would get Atmosphere but I believe it is very sheer. My sales associate had it on top of Secret which was really pretty and would probably be really pretty on top of Orage as well. I may go back for the deep purple Pulsion eye shadow and maybe Orage nail polish a little later in the season. I'm still in summer mode.

Here's my face using the products I purchased. :)
