Apologies if this has been asked before (chances are it has, given that the thread's currently at 823 pages

), but is anyone aware of a lipstick dupe for Bijou? I love the colour, but I don't wear gloss often enough to warrant purchasing it.

Everyone's looking smokin' hot in their goodies btw!

Faux is almost an exact dupe on my skin tone (NW 43) Pink Plaid is a little more pink, but's it's close too.

Yeah, I can NOT wear nude lips if my eyes aren't smoky as hell with fake lashes top AND bottom, and even then they have to either be very glossy or have a darker browner lipliner. I think part if it is my really light skin, you want to be able to SEE your lips, so the color/finish can't be too close to your skin. And when you're REALLY pale, you'd pretty much need white lipstick to go lighter than your skin tone, and then your teeth would look yellow. It's sad but it's true. And there are no magical pills we can take to have beautiful bronze or chocolate skin (not to mention we'd then have to find out about racism) so we just have to accept it. Some colors will take more effort to pull off. But it's worth it, the look is really sexy when you get it right maybe a little bronzer would help if you took down onto the collarbones and cleavage? So we don't look like vampires? Not that any of you look like vampires, I'm just looking in a mirror right now lol maybe we should do a series of before/after pictures, like "this is me just with the lipstick" then "this is how I would make it into a full look".

I feel like color on the eyes and lots of mascara makes nudes work for me. I have one nude lipstick from YSL in sensual silk and I cannot get that lip stick to look right on me. I look like death with it on.

honestly, I like my eyes more than my lips, so I like an excuse to go full drag-show with the eyes, like putting on glitter with eyelash glue drag. Nude lips give me that excuse, that's the whole reason I do them

I really think it will. Try it with a brown or blue-purple smokey eye.

I know I can't :haha: ! RH and SP look like shite on me without a full face!  Full face with either SP or RH and yup amazing! 

Thankfully i can. I rely on that on days when I'm just wearing naked pigment and lashes and don't have time to do a bold lip. This allows me to throw on a nude lip while I'm in the car!

It's weird cos I totally love strip poker.

If you try it with a medium pink under it should help turn the lipstick a smidge coral.
But any pink will do just not to light.
And no problem anytime love!

Hmm just not sure about riot house on me, I think this is going to be the same as sweet experience where I'm just never sure about it!

I like it on you! But just to share I like wear SP and RH just like any nude but blended into my lips using a finger and I love it. If I want a little extra color I add a brighter color right along the seam of my lips and make it into a gradient lip =]

I thought you meant like complete bare face lol. I can thankfully wear them with just a quick easy face.

I've worn dg three days in a row. Total lovefest :eyelove: now I understand why people BU!! Haven't touched my KYY except for first swatch, I like it a lot but dg is so different and new for me that I can't get enough. Such a good collection this turned out to be!!:encore:

I can only do gloss or maybe a Patent Polish with a nekkid face. It just looks to strange on me any other way.
