Did you see him on Criminal Minds a few years back? He was gross and creepy on that!
My hubby was watching that the other day and texted me at work and was all "your favorite trany is in my show. Tim curry plays a creepy killer" I came home and he showed me, I just laughed. Still is most creepy as pennywise in IT.

For real. Out of all the movies Tim has been in. My hubby says RHPS. It's cause Tim makes a sexy tranny!

I just read that there will be a remake of that. I want to see it, but I think I'm too scared, lol.
Ugh. Really? I don't really like when classics get remade. It always seems to get screwed up. I think there is very few remakes that were good. Leave the classics alone people! On a different note. IT never scarred me. I'm just not afraid of clowns.

With the topic of goonies I hear they are doing a sequel to that as well.
Hollywood needs to quit dicking around with all our beloved 80s/ early 90s films and get their originality back if you ask me. Did I love The Goonies? Heck yeah! Do I want to see a sequel or remake almost 30 years later with different actors, story and all around un-80sness? Nope! Have they not learned from all those incredibly awful horror movie remakes of the last few years? There is NO Freddy without Robert Englund!!!! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. lol

I usually hate remakes. Really depends on the film.
No offense to the people who love the super bloody stuff, which the kids prefer now.
I prefer the old horrors that were legit FEAR over just blood and guts and more blood.
UGH if I am going to be scared I want to be scared with fear. All that extra blood and shiz doesn't do anything for me.

IT did it for me! I have a legit fear of clowns. My brothers fault. But it was the situation when I watched it that also added to the fear I have.

Exactly! All the blood and gore isn't scary, it's icky. I seriously think Hollywood has forgotten how to scare people, the only good horror films I've seen as of late have been the Insidious films.

I LOVE the Insidious movies, it's really really hard to creep me out and those do it. I like that they're old fashioned. Aside from thinking gore means horror nowadays the other trend is aliens/weird mutants etc something stupid that still looks stupid even on 2014 CGI. Old women ghosts on the other hand like Insidious= my own personal brand of "ill sleep with the lights on thanks" lol

I can't get into this genre of "tourture porn". Especially such an escalation of the portrayal of violence against females. I used to love SK and also horror films growing up. I was never scared except when I was a child reading IT and I was about to go to bed and decided that I would sleep better if I covered the book with a cushion lol

It's disgusting! Crap like Human Centipede, Hostel etc. No thanks.

IT scared me as a kid due to a previous scare with a clown as a child, but now I can totally deal with it. Still can live without clowns as a whole though. lol
