Got part of my nordstroms order today, so I have the skinfinishes and 2 lip polishes to play around with!

So far my haul is:

1 DG
1 KYY
1 SP
1 Cheeky Bugger Blush
1 Refresh
1 Jolly Good

I keep eying Sharon's eyeshadow quad as well because I always wear those colors.

To me, it is quite a bit like CYY v.1, TTT, and even Pink Plaid in formulation. It is just that formula with the light color that makes it a bit harder to wear. I had to work with all of those too. RM and the not true to matte formulation of DG and some other lippies has spoiled us I am afraid.
yes, after DG nothing is good enough, I never thought I would like it, but I love that lipstick. Is my favorite along with sushi kiss.

I feel like most of the people skipped sharon's quad?
I think so too.
In general, I think most people who buy MAC stuff want more "fun" colors and not so much neutrals.
The quad appeals to me because I only wear neutral eyeshadows though. Even though I probably already have dupes of all the colors.

I got both palettes, I think a neutral palette is always nice to have. The quality of the eyeshadows are really good. But yes, it is easy to dupe.

My lippies usually look as if the top flap of their individual boxes had been opened, but I've never received anything used, no matter if I order from MAC, Nordies, Macy's or Dillard's. I think it may just be from them being tossed into the box so quickly. Unless something was obviously damaged, I wouldn't worry about it.
I receive lippies from MAC all the time with the box flap not tucked in. Nothing has been damaged.

MAC quads had been of the uber suckage quality in the past IMO, these are more like the regular shadows with awesome payoff and ability to blend. They both rocked IMO and can't wait until mine are here. Plus, no CARBON!!

oh! That CARBON, I picked punk couture quad 2 weeks ago at my local nordstrom, they still have it, and the final look is beautiful, but to make carbon work is such a pain. I almost returned it because of carbon.

I picked it up, after reading The Beauty Look Book's Review (n/a). I usually agree with her, I did this time too. When I swatched it in person, I thought the texture was nice. Not a need, but definitely a nice to have.

The Pedro one was a must, by comparison. I am traveling currently, with both the Pedro and the Sharon. Yes, there's both neutral but--if you are neutral nut like me--they are "totally different"!!

is amazing is the best msf for my skin tone, it doesn't have that orange muddy look that other bronzer give me, I am an nc15 and I tend to oxide my cheek products, so this is better a natural and beautiful look for my skin type. If you can get it, do it, you won't regret it.
Have you tried Nars contour blush in Olympia? It's slightly darker than jolly good but in the same tone - I'm NW15 and I love it when I don't feel like being "bronzed" but want to add dimension

no I haven't, I am going to take a look, next time I go to sephora or nordstrom. Thank you for the info. I have never heard of it before.
